CentOS - May 2018 - Centos 7.5 and Courier 10 Pitch fonts in Libreoffice

Try to convert the type1 fonts into a truetype 
container (using fontforge) and install them

how about just using the "courier new" that you should get as part
of LibreOffice?

If you want 10 pitch, try choosing 12 point (and 12-pitch should be 10 point)
