Sending SMS problems.
Dear Sir,
I'm trying to configure the SMS capabilities of my provider (Telecom
Italia) with my asterisk. I tryed with a normal phone (SMSC number
42100) and all is working fine, incoming and outgoung SMS.
Now I'm trying to configure my asterisk for support SMS, the incoming
messages are working fine (incoming number 042111) dialplan match and
SMS recived. I'm getting troubles in

SMS in the U.S.
A potential client wants to integrate cell phones into his PBX offering.
Is anyone able to exchange messages between an * system and a mobile
phone? Which gateway are you using and what are the charges? Do you
use app_SMS?
I know this can be done because I'm receiving spam SMS on my cell phone.

Incoming fax on voipbuster
Hello,
I'm trying to receive a fax to my inbound number from voipbuster.
Asterisk receives the call and starts the rxfax application successful,
but then nothing happens. The calling party is still hearing a ringing
tone, or sometimes nothing. Voicecalls are working correct and without
problems.
For testing I've add a local number (300) to the dialplan. When I call
this number

Receiving Faxes...
Hello,
I think you should handle the fax in the h (for Hangup) extension (which is, after your fax was received), instead of using the priorities following the fax reception (as in your example). Have a look at the different examples in the wiki, like http://www.voip-info.org/wiki-Asterisk+fax:

SMS in Spain (it seems Protocol 2)
Hello,
(I have asked it some time ago in Asterisk-es mailing list, so excuse me if
anybody receive it twice.)
I am trying to send SMS in Spain using landlines. It seems that
app_sms.c only handles Protocol 1, but Spain and Italy are using
Protocol 2.
I have been searching in Internet without any results... anybody is
sending SMS from Asterisk (or any method) using Protocol 2? (so, it

app_rxfax errors

AMP - Fax Detections
Does anyone know of any obscur reference for detecting an incoming fax.
I currently have AMP running and everything else is working great.
Installed the spandsp patches and software... using the default AMP
extensions.conf, I start sending a fax, I hear it pick up and transfer
to voicemail after 20s.
Fax is set for system... Here is the detail from the extensions.conf

Receiving faxes and then sending them on
Hi,
I'm trying to setup a system where incoming faxes are received using
SpanDSP and then send on to another (remote) fax machine. The SpanDSP
part is working excellently, however I dont seem to be able to get
the forwarding part to work. Heres what I put into my extensions.conf:

app_sms not working anymore
Hi,
I have been using app_sms for a few weeks now, since I recently
upgrade to asterisk 1.2.9.1 (latest bristuff, -q) however, app_sms
doesn't seem to work that well anymore..
On receiving an sms, I execute the app_sms script, and get this as output:

Blank faxes with RxFAX

I have downloaded and installed spandsp and downloaded rxfax, etc and
rebuilt asterisk with app_rxfax. I have added the following to my
extensions.conf:

Another Faxing Question
This probably came up before, but I have a faxing question for everyone.
I have a simple extension setup to use rxfax to receive faxes sent to
asterisk. It is:

rxfax trouble on bristuffed capi
Hi all,
My BRIstuffed 0.2.0-RC7k is running fine on my debian box for voice calls
over ISDN2.
Now I want to implement receiving incoming faxes into my setup so I did a
google and some reading on the wiki.
I got the spandsp 0.0.2pre10 package compiled and installed, patched
asterisk's apps makefile and compiled * again.
This all worked out fine.

Inbound analog Telco line not answered
I have an X100P clone hocked up to an analog line of my PRI. I can use it
to dial out.
but when I call the extension it answers and says "GOODBY"
I have a Livevoip DID which successfuly rings to ext 202
I am using asterisk@home and through the AMP inface the line should ring to
ext 202
