zaphfc / incoming call - error 6
Hi Folks, I've Asterisk Bristuffed up and running behind an Auerswald Commander Basic ISDN PBX on the internal ISDN Bus (BRI/PTMP). The HFC Card works marvelleous for outgoing calls (as the parallely installed avm fritzcard with chan_capi does), but when I'm trying to call in, I get a short ring signal and then the connection is terminated. This does not happen with chan_capi and

Outdialing with Voicetronix
Hi all, Just thought I'd pass along some pointers when outdialing with Voicetronix's OpenLine4 card. I was having a tough time dialing out from *, it probably has something to do with chan_vpb.c not waiting to hear the dialtone before telling the card to dial. A quick fix was to insert a "," in the dialstring telling the card to pause before dialing. However when the

AW: zaphfc problem
Hi, I solved the Problem: the context defined in zaptel.conf: context = zapincoming was not in extensions.conf, so nothing worked. ( I assumend this context is only necessary for calls from zaptel, not to it) This may be a bug: in the verbose log I found nothing like "[chan_zap] Could not initialize ..., due to ....", this had helped alot and had saved alot of hours (-;

zaptel, bristuff zaphfc, and florz question
Hi, We've been using zaphfc single ISDN cards as cheap Zaptel timing sources for our Asterisk boxes for a long time, and in the asterisk 1.0.x series, had zero problems doing so. I now have some boxes with Zaptel 1.2.x (with a mixture of 1.0.x asterisk and 1.2.x asterisk), and this setup no-longer seems stable - By plugging or unplugging the ISDN cable, and sometimes just randomly the card

Call inband progress indication and zaphfc
Hello all, I've a little clue with zaphfc used to connect to a BRI linethat probably can be a configuration issue.... (really I hope so) Here, telcos (expecially mobile operators) use to substitute the dialtone with some vocal indication without answer the line. (Indications like "The customer is not reachable" or "wait because the customer is on the phone" ecc..) For

Asterisk 1.0.9 on SuSE 9.2 with ISDN BRI & zaphfc?
I would like to know how to install asterisk 1.0.9 with zaphfc working on a SuSE 9.2. I tried this: - The rpms with SuSE 9.2 are asterisk 1.0.6 - bristuff works, except for zaphfc, which doesn't compile. - The official asterisk download file doesn't contain isdn bri support Any ideas? Lars Dybdahl.
