Hello, my first post to the list. I have started to install and play with Asterisk. I was following some basic instructions to 'jump-start' my system. I have a TDM400P with one port and a X100P. I am running the latest CVS versions (from today). Following the steps I found for basic jump-start I did the following: Modprobe zaptel Modprobe wcfxo Modprobe wcfxs Edited

I have just upgraded from Asterisk 0.7.2 to 1.0.2 and seem to be having an issue with the zaptel init script.. If I run.. #modprobe zaptel #modprobe wcfxo #modprobe wcfxs .. from a command line it load and appears to be working fine.. If I try and use the init script I get errors about ZT_CHANCONFIG and the modules don't see to laod up.. Anyone got any pointers? I am running Fedora Core

Is there anything special needed to load up a TDM10B card?? I got the card today.. Took it from the box, put it into a PCI slot.. connected the power to the card and booted the PC.. Sorry, but this may be a really dumb question. How do I load the zaptel modules wcfxo and wcfxs at boot time on my Debian Sarge system? The file zaptel.init used by the command "make config" appears to be designed for redhat type systems and does not work for me.
