Asterisk@Home, AMP, and Broadvoice
Egad, not again with Broadvoice! Anyhow, I recently installed AAH and
configured my TDM11B and got that and some SIP phones working. I still
have some issues to work out, etc, but my current problem is Broadvoice.
I have checked out all of the online resources, including the recent
list exchange about the recent changes made by Broadvoice. However, the

Help: CallerID Name not being sent on outbound PRI trunk
Outbound calls on my Telus PRI aren't taking the Name portion of the
callerID. I've looked at the logs, and it is being set (see below), but
the PRI debug output doesn't show the name being sent anywhere. As a
result, received calls always display from Unknown (or just the number).
Is there some config that I've missed somewhere?
I'm running NI-1 (Telus says NI-2 doesn't

Help debugging a possible SIP channel leak in 11.17.0, possible race condition
I am trying to collect enough information about an problem a client is having with its asterisk 11.17.0 x86_64. This issue was observed before in 1.8.20, and we upgraded to 11.15.0 and then to 11.17.0 with no solution.
Background: this client is a telemarketing call-center that generates outgoing calls with close to a hundred agents operating simultaneously in peak hours. The system uses

Have you tried Asterisk 13? The bridging mechanism has been completely
rewritten on Asterisk 12, so there's no longer channel masquerading and
zombie channels. Might be worth a try.

router UDP timeout
Hi there
I am using an IAX2 softphone built from the IaxClient library dialing into
Meetme conferences. The IaxClient seems to use silence suppression, and not
sure if this can be disabled. The client works fine through most routers,
but for some it disconnects the client after about 5 minutes and gives this
error in the asterisk logs:

bogus bond0 device showing up in /proc/net/dev
I'm running into a situation where a bogus bonded interface named
"bond0" is being created, in addition to the desired "bond2" interface.
Can anyone confirm this? Anyone know why it's happening or what I do
to get rid of it? I wanted to start my numbering scheme at 2 instead of
0, which I didn't think would be a problem.
As you can see, I have no reference

None of Dell OptiPlex 990 (firmware A19), 9010 (firmware A22), nor 9020

cases I had success running the external EFI shell from

(Small) problem with barchart
Hi,
I have a small problem when using barchart. I have the following data:
letters a
6 f 18
1 a 15
10 j 12
9 i 12
4 d 9
5 e 6
The data is from a survey and summaries the alternatives selected in one
question. The idea is to have a bar chart illustrating the count of
each selection in descending order. The data frame is already ordered

I've read the WiKi and the docs and tried the examples.....
I can't get it to work (I have 2 x 7960's registering on one server and 1 x 7960 registering on the other).
I've set them up as follows...
The two servers are set up as friends and have consecutive IP address's.
The setup is

do I have a local problem, or is registration at IAXTEL impossible at the

I have the following setup: DS3 -> Cisco AS5400 -> H.323 (ooh323) ->
Asterisk
Inbound calls work great but outbound calls fail. So to check and
make sure we have outbound calling ability on the DS3 we setup a Cisco
Call Manager Express and it can make outbound calls both local and
long distance with no problems.
The failure code is Cause i = 0x8381 - Unallocated/unassigned number.

Shouldnt I be able to at least ping the SIP provider IP?
I run command "sip show registry" and do not see it set up.
I run sip show peers and I do see an entry.
