mISDN & Asterisk 1.4: HFC-S card not responsive
Hi,
I have installed Asterisk 1.4 with mISDN with the
install-asterisk.tar.gz script from beronet.com. On my system I have two
cards, one a AVM Frit!Card Pci 2.0 and one HFC-S chip. I know both to
work well with mISDN on my system from a previous installation.
Now however, the AVM card works well at first glance, i.e. it
"registers" incoming calls and works through the asterisk

my hfc card does not like Siemens
Hello,
I tried to connect my Siemens ISDN 4170 cordless small PBX to the
asterisk with an Acer HFC isdn card but I have not seen any success. The
asterisk can see the card but no success to receive or dial a call. The
Siemens 4170 gives fault in all the handsets with trying to dial and
does not receives anything.
I have linux kernel 2.4.29, asterisk CVS-v1-0-03/12/05-17, zaphfc

Hi!
I am trying to export a PCI device (an AVM Fritzcard PCI ISDN card...)
to a domU but when starting my domU I am getting this error:

Asterisk 1.6.2.5 crash with chan_capi upon calling to PSTN
Hi,
I am having a problem with (Asterisk is crashing) with a Fritz card PCI
/ chan_capi.
Receiving Calls from PSTN works, but outbound calls make asterisk crash
(Speicherzugriffsfehler/Segmentation fault). The crash occurs upon
dialing with the other phone not even ringing.
I hereby ask if somebody reading this list can confirm or disprove my
issue. Does anbody run a recent asterisk 2.6 with

chan_capi patch: app_capiFax modifications
Hi,
Since Carl has kindly provided us with fax support for CAPI based
cards, we have been using it with much success. Today I have modified
app_capiFax so that it now supports a dynamic CSID. The following
example uses the DNID created by chan_capi on an AVM Fritz! card.
* Receive a fax with CAPI API.
* Usage : capiAnswerFax2(path_output_file.SFF|stationID)

HELP on AVM Fritz with CAPI drivers for SMP RH 9
Hello,
I have been wrestling with installing the CAPI drivers for AVM Fritz in order
to use chan_capi with Asterisk.
I use an SMP machine, RH 9. I have found rpm's for CAPI and AVM drivers
(namely: capi4k-utils-2003.06.16-08.mungo.RH9.i686.rpm and kernel-2.4.20-8-
avmfcpci-03.11.02-08.mungo.RH9.i686.rpm), but I believe that they support only
single processor machines.

AVM Fritz/Capi without suse ?
Hi All,
Has anyone had success with using the AVM Fritz PCI ISDN Card (v2) CAPI
drivers with a distro other than suse? The AVM driver is geared towards
suse, and after trying them with RedHat 9 I've not got very far. The
module compiles but dies when I attempt to modprobe it.
I've googled until I almost lost the will to live! What little
information
I can find seems to refer back to

Fedora Core 2 (kernel 2.6.5), CAPI and Fritz PCI
I have an Asterisk box running happily under Fedora Core 2 with a X100P and a
TDM400P, and now I'd like to integrate it to my ISDN2e connection using
either an AVM Fritz PCI card or an Eicon DIVA passive card, both of which I
have sculling around. I've successfully used the AVM card under RedHat 8.0,
but I'm having difficulty finding information on running it under the Fedora

Kernel Version for CAPI AVM Fritz PCI V2 / chan_capi / chan_alsa update to latest version..
Hello there
I have a serious issue with the AVM Fritz PCI V2
I have the following setup and the problem is, that the kernel freezes hard after
about 16 hours. The second problem is, that the S-Bus gets jammed as well, so
you can't even use a analog phone! on the NT
Kernel 2.4.21rc2 with ACPI Patch and of course capi
are there any reasons why this configuration should not work?

echo capi AVM fritz card
Hi All,
I'm running asterisk 1.0.7 on debian sarge, and
hardware-wise an AVM Fritz!PCI Card, together with chan_capi 0.3.5.
The problem is that any inbound/outbound calls on analogue line result in echo on MY end
(the asterisk end). I've played with the echo settings in capi.conf
(mainly turning on echocancel and echosquelch, also tried playing with
rxgain/txgain) to no avail. The only

HI all,
Has anyone succesfully installed an AVM Fritz! card on Fedora 7 using the
drivers at ATrpms recently? http://atrpms.net/dist/f7/fcpci/
I tried with a clean F7 build on my EPIA 5000 yesterday, after modifying
/etc/capi.conf (removing the coment # in front of fcpci line) I received the
following error when executing 'capiinit' -

AVM Fritz-PCI v2.0 and Asterisk
Hello all,
I would like to know about the support for this ISDN passive card AVM Fritz-PCI
v2.0 with Asterisk:
1. which drive should I use with Asterisk: isdn4linux or capi4linux from
AVM
(I read some messages on the asterisk-users archives but I didn't find
the answer)
2. if the drive is isdn4linux then HiSAX support (for passive cards) is
enough ?

cheap HFC card on Bristuff vs cheap HFC card oni4l vs Fritz ISDN BRI card on CAPI
Hi,
Bristuff works great with HFC card... your compilation problem may come
from your kernel configuration...
You should check this doc, at least, for the redhat config :
http://www.automated.it/guidetoasterisk.htm
Then, installation of Bristuff works like as charm !

cheap HFC card on Bristuff vs cheap HFC card on i4l vs Fritz ISDN BRI card on CAPI
Hello
I have asterisk running in Red Hat 9 with a cheap HFC card on i4l. I have
choppy sound problems sometimes, and echo problems often. I am using a 2
port Grandstream ATA, Grandstream BT and a Grandstream GPX-2000
I read that changing to BriStuff will fix the echo problems, but have also
read other users say that the only way they solved the echo/choppy sound
problems was using a Fritz ISDN
