Hello All, I am looking to get asterisk to receive faxes but I really don't know where to go from here, any help pointing me in the right direction would be great. What I would really like is for this second line to answer faxes, but if a user typing in an extension it goes to that extension but I need to get the fax working first. In germany, currently I have faxes coming in on DID line into QuadBRI and then passing to Digium TDM400 (analog) and into faxmachine. But the reliability of TDM card is spotty, so I want to maybe just accept faxes in on ISDN card and save on asterisk system ...? keeping digital signal strong ...

Hi, I noticed a strange behaviour: Faxing using spandsp (TxFax) from my asterisk box to my old, common fax machine at home works fine. Faxing from the same box to my office pc-fax (Hylafax) also worke fine. Receveiving faxes on my asterisk box using spandsp (RxFax) also works fine. Hello. I just emerged spanDSP with all the packages needed. After a bit of configuration i was read to test. But i get this errormessage stating that application rxfax was not found.
