HFC ISDN card with bristuff from jung hanns.n et?
Hi Alessio
Yes, the problems you report do seem similar to the issues I had. I found on the Dells that the audio prompts were very choppy and played slower than normal. Occasionally there would be 'bursts' oav a second or so of 'good' audio.
I also suspected IRQ issues but the Dell Mobos had no way of adjusting them. Best thing is to try and get the card on its own unshared

Does anyone test Asterisk 1.2.X + bristuff-0.3.X and TDM card? We can't
get it to work.

howto on ISDN HFC cards with AAH v1.1
Hi,
Can anyone please point me in a direction as to how to set up these 2
pci cards with AAH 1.1?
I have (am still) googling left, right & center - but haven't found a
definitive guide yet.
The centos based setup lacks any of the tools I know (insmod, modprobe
....) so it is time consuming just to even dig around the AAH box.
There are no zaptel.conf files ....and on it goes.

the cause. Also terrible is finding a lot of material

HFC-S
Hi!
I have just installed Redhat 9 and Asterisk to my computer, and now i have
problems with my non-zaptel Card, I don't know how to set it up since all
instructions are for digium's hardware.
I have searched from the Internet for hours now, can you help me to understand
all this HFC-s thing and how it is related to CAPI, ISDN4Linux, bristuff and so
on.
I have to say that I am not so

Anyone here using JUNGHANNS.net douBRI 2.0 ISDN ?
Hi,
I'm very new to asterisk and managed to set one up in debian, I
installed via apt-get the asterisk and asterisk-bristuff packages. I
downloaded the bristuff source as well.
I managed to get as far as loading the following modules:

But the problem now is that all channels that I try to configure gives

ISDN, AVM C4, HFC-cards and echo
Hello,
I've been using * for quite a while using AVM C4 card and a few
Grandstream Budgetone 102 hard phones plus couple of HandyTone 286.
Echo is a big problem. I am getting used to it, but some users complain.
Anyone has experience w/ regards to echo comparing the AVM C4 with two
HFC-cards? Before shelling out time and money, maybe someone else
already has done so, and could tell me if

HFC-S ISDN card on *@home
It seems so simple, but I'm having no luck installing a HFC-s ISDN BRI card
on *@home 0.5.
I probably have to install BRI-stuff from Junghanns.net but that also
downloads and installs another copy of * from Digium.
I'm not sure if zaphfc has to be installed *before* Asterisk or if it's OK
to do this afterwards.
I've seen this question before, but: Anyone successfully installed a

cheap HFC card on Bristuff vs cheap HFC card on i4l vs Fritz ISDN BRI card on CAPI
Hello
I have asterisk running in Red Hat 9 with a cheap HFC card on i4l. I have
choppy sound problems sometimes, and echo problems often. I am using a 2
port Grandstream ATA, Grandstream BT and a Grandstream GPX-2000
I read that changing to BriStuff will fix the echo problems, but have also
read other users say that the only way they solved the echo/choppy sound
problems was using a Fritz ISDN

Recomended ISDN for Asterisk ?
Hi
I have installed the http://asteriskathome.sourceforge.net/ with a
Digium card with no problems, very good !
Now I want to install my Billion PCI ISDN card (HFC based) in TE mode.
I get a little confused with Isdn4Linux, ZapHFC HIAX and the need to
install Capi !
Please suggest best and easiest approach ?
Thank you !

chan_capi and bristuff
Hi,
Reading from www.voip-info.org, i can see that "Junghann's chan_capi is now
part of bristuff <http://www.voip-info.org/wiki/view/Bristuff> , as of
version 0.3.0-pre".
What does that really mean ?
Shall I understand I can share a Junghanns QuadBRI board between 2
CAPI-enabled software (like a 0.3.0-pre bristuffed Asterisk for instance) ?
If positive, what are the pros and

Current bristuff error report
Hello,
I just noticed an error in the current version of Klaus-Peter Junghanns
bristuff package, especially in the HFC module.
Everytime I try to unload the HFC module with "modprobe -r" I got a
kernel panic and the complete server hangs up so I need to do a hard
reset.

Why would you want to do that? Sorry if I missed the start of the problem
but qozap is what you want to use with your Junghanns card (at least if you
want to stay with zaptel/libpri).

Interface card for Euro-ISDN (BRI)
Hi,
I'm looking for an interface card for termination of Euro-ISDN2 (BRI)
lines.
That is ISDN lines from the telco into my Asterisk box.
Any recommendations, good/bad expiriences ?
At present I'm looking at cards from BeroNet and Junghanns.
Cheers,

Bristuff-0.3.0-PRE-1q and & florz patch compile trouble
Again trouble compiling bristuff-0.3.0-PRE-1q with the florz patch on a
x86_64 box (I guess nobody is using x86_64 platform or is able to fix this
themselves?)
First of all when bristuff is downloaded and compile is started it appears
that the bristuff Makefiles are badly broken.
The asterisk Makefiles all do see to find the kernel sources on a RHEL4
box in the proper directory, the pure
