USB headset recommendations
I'd like to get some feedback from users of USB headsets as to what they like/dislike about the unit they own (manufacturer/model number). I'm looking to buy some. Is there already a thread somewhere or a review (I tried to find one with no luck), discussing this topic? Any advantages/disadvantages to using a USB headset over a regular headset slaved off the internal sound card?

Sipura 841 and headset
Hi folks ! I bought two sipura 841 phones. I used to have GN Netcom headset which I connect instead of the handset. The problem is that I don't have any sound coming out the headset and I can't speak neither ! I'am located in France and I was wondering if the cabling in the sipura and in the headset is the same (I mean the order of the cables) or maybe is there something else to

OT: Headset for Cisco 7960?
Sorry, I know it's OT, but does anyone know of a relatively inexpensive headset that is compatible with the Cisco 7960? I've tried the headset off Norstar phones, doesn't seem to work with or without the amp. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ | nate carlson | natecars@natecarlson.com | http://www.natecarlson.com | | depriving some poor

[headset/mic] Volume too low + echo in *
Hello, I'm having the following problem when using a headset on XP connected to an on-board Realtek soundcard on an AsusTek M2N68-AM Plus motherboard: - Using any sound recorder (Windows', Audacity, XLite), the level is just too low when speaking at a conversational level, even with the microphone level pumped all the way up (line displayed totally flat in Recorder)

BlueTooth Headset
Hello Forum/List, usually sound works quite well for me in WINE, but now trying to get my BlueTooth headphone to work (as opposed to the laptop's builtin speakers) I've run into a problem. My guess is it has to do with the delay occurs when a sound begins to play over these headphones, even though watching a movie in MPlayer at the same time to prevent that delay hasn't helped either.

Headset with X-Lite
Just got a headset for testing asterisk and am using X-Lite. I plugged in the headset into the headset jack and is there any way to configure X-lite to use the headset instead of the speakers? Or will I have to plug the headset in the speaker jack ? -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:

Quick Question - Jabra Headset and Aastra 53i - Where is the speaker/headset enable setting on Aastra UI?
Hi Everyone, I can connect the Jabra GN2124 + GN2100 (smart cord) to the Aastra 53i receiver port and I get a tone. But when I connect it to the headset port there is no tone. I am running firmware 2.4 and I can't seem to find that DHSG, EHS or whatever the setting maybe called to enable to get this headset work with the phone. Can anyone quickly tell me where the audio options are on this

In search of Headset Compatible Analog Phone
I have been looking for analog phones for my * system that work with our plantronic amplifiers and headsets. The problem I am having with the Aastra phones that I have purchased (PT-390, 9116, 9120, 8009 ), is that they don't seem to stay hung up unless you physically hang up the handset everytime you finish a call. I have even purchased the Aastra 9120 which sais it has on-hook

Softphone (with USB headset) for Mac recommendations
Well, I have my 7940 up and running at home, and everything's working pretty much perfectly. So, it's time to find new things to break :-). The problem de jour is long-distance calling from work: I can use my cell phone, but I'm in an inside office on the 42nd floor and it's really hard to get good reception. So, I'm thinking about running a softphone on my Mac laptop

OT: pinout for "standard" telephone headset required.?
Hi, I have a Cisco 7960G phone for which I know the pinout of the headset socket. I have a couple of standard telephone headsets which I do not know the pinout of. I'd like to connect the two. If I have the pinout of a normal/standard headset I can rewire the ones I have to match the cisco. Thanks Mike

Bluetooth headset in handsfree modewith SJPhoneor X-lite
Hi, You need to have completely replaced the Microsoft driver, because it doesn't support the headset or ctp Bluetooth profiles. This gave me fits! I followed the instructions at http://www.windowsdevcenter.com/pub/a/windows/2005/07/05/bluetooth.html and it works with both a Plantronics and a Motorola Headset, and I can answer calls with idefisk, eyebeam, x-lite, and kapanga. OT: Wireless headset / phone combination
I've been asked for recommendations for a small call centre, an ethernet SIP deskphone with a wireless headset. Similar approach would be a mobile phone with bluetooth head set. Either I've not looked hard enough, or there isn't much on offer. Alec Davis -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:
