ztdummy on Gentoo 2.6.10 Box
Hi Everyone,
I read through the list on the issues with the ztdummy driver which I
need for MeetMe, but I seem to have come across a problem that I cannot
seem to find an answer for.
I am running Gentoo 2.6.10 on an Intel box.
I have read the the wiki entries on the ztdummy and followed the
instructions as they relate to the 2.6 kernel.
Everything compiled great, but a modprobe ztdummy

MeetMe Problems
I have two asterisk machines. One of them has a Digium board (server
A) and the other is simply using ztdummy (server B). Server A is
running on Debian and Server B is running Gentoo. Server A is running
Asterisk CVS-Nv1-0-7-06/01/05-01:27:25 and Server B is running
Asterisk 1.0.7.
The problem I have is that when I try to transfer a call into a
meetme room in server B, it simply hangs

Problem compiling ztdummy on centos 4, 2.6 kernel
Hi all,
I hope everyone is doing well. I just joined the list, and I've really
enjoyed all I have read about asterisk so far. Unfortunately, I'm having a
bit of trouble implementing this thing :).
By the way ... I did my best to search the forums, and also to use google
extensively, and while I have found pages with people with the same problem,
... The fix suggested on those sites,

MeetMe Conference on Asterisk-1.4.13
Hello all,
I am planning to setup a MeetMe conference functionality on
Asterisk-1.4.13without having a Zaptel card. All users will be
calling through SIP only.
AFAIK, the said application needs a timer which makes use of the ztdummy
module. I have basically two (2) problems I am encountering here that [1] I
can't load the ztdummy.ko module and [2] Asterisk don't run when running it

Server B does not have any Digium board, but has ztdummy and zaptel
loaded. It's runnin on a P4 1.6Ghz with 1GB RAM and 36G SCSI RAID 10

ztdummy (again)
Hi,
I am new to the list.
I have just *re*-installed and rebuilt asterisk from the head
branch and I am left with the problem that the sound bounces
around. When installing zaptel I get the following message from
ztcfg.
Lastest head and fedora 2.6.11-1.35_FC3

meetme conference latency degrades...
We have recently started making more frequent use of the meetme
conference of our * system.
We are using v1.0.8 with a 2.6.11 kernel on our system.
We generally have 4 callers in it: two with the gsm codec and 2 with g729.
Initially, the conference works fine and there is little latency. After
about 15min., though, the latency is very noticable and by 25min it's
unbearable.
If we all leave

Asterisk on NetBSD
I was reading on the wiki that Asterisk runs very solid on NetBSD.
Can anyone comment? What is the definition of solid? Who is running
Asterisk on NetBSD and which version of Asterisk are you running?
Also, I know there is limited support for Digium cards on NetBSD, but
is there any support at all? Would a TE410P work in NetBSD? I want to
build a very simple VoIP to TDM gateway. My idea

modprobe Ztdummy is not working
Hi,
I've install zaptel and I don't have a Digium card installed in the machine.
So I want to install ztdummy to have Music On Hold working. I've follow
these instruction http://www.voip-info.org/wiki-Asterisk+timer+ztdummy and
at the point "modprobe ztdummy" it's failing. I'm getting these messages:

MAKEing zaptel and ztdummy on SuSE 9.3 - Repost
Hi,
Sorry to re-post, but I'm still having hassles with ztdummy. I'm using
kernel 2.6.11.4-21.7-smp and Asterisk 1.0.8 on SuSE 9.3
The first 3 makes (see below) for zaptel work out ok - but the
ztdummy.ko (etc) files *are* created even though I haven't yet
uncommented ztdummy in Makefile.
If the ztdummy bits are compiled, why edit Makefile & run make again?

ztdummy does not load properly at server startup
Hi
I run asterisk 1.4.2 with zaptel 1.4.1.
Zaptel is only needed for the ztdummy driver to get the Meetme()
application to work. I don't have any specific hardware.
And it does work nicely. When I reboot the machine however I have to
manually load the driver like this:
[root@vink ~]# modprobe ztdummy
Notice: Configuration file is /etc/zaptel.conf
