I personally use Snapanumber $30 or there abouts (after trialing a few
other TAPI solutions and finding them sub-par) and think it's a great
product but interesting to see how more people are expecting
desktop/phone integration applications.

There's not much in the article so only click through if super

What application integration would you like to see between MS (either
Office or other aspects of the vista/xp OS) and Asterisk. Apart from

FW: TellMe pay-as-you-go? - UPDATE
As some of you know I've been trying to facilitate an involvement with
www.tellme.com <http://www.tellme.com/> speech recognition tools and
Asterisk. See www.studio.tellme.com <http://www.studio.tellme.com/>
There have been a number of people who are already integrating the two
and utilizing Tellme as an ASP to deliver speech recognition to their
asterisk applications.

[VOIP-Users-Conference] Potential subject for Friday - Does the Asterisk community need a 3rd party commercial software ecosystem?
Hi BJ,
Further explanation about the 3rd party ecosystem question this morning
Cory Andrews from VoIP supply was on the Voip-Users conference call last
week.
I asked the question - how much of VoIP Supply revenue is product versus
applications - he said we don't sell any services such as ITSP hosted
Asterisk so I replied that wasn't what I was thinking of and gave the
example of Snap

Asterisk 3rd party developed commercial software sales licensing platform
I think it's time to 'ping' John Todd and Digium on this topic again.
What happened Digium?
Why did you say you were going to take this project on but have not come
back to the community with an answer yet?

3rd party app store
I recently came across this email that I wrote in May 2008 ...... ?http://lists.digium.com/pipermail/asterisk-users/2008-May/210887.html
It's such a shame that Digium manhandled the project away from the community only to then bury it and not allow it to proceed. I really wonder when I look at the Apple iphone development community as to where the 3rd party Asterisk development community

RE: E164 updater Client
Hi Asterisk users/e164 developers,
I have had an idea on how to improve the functionality of the E164
service.
The idea is that when I'm no longer at my house I actually want to
receive calls at another number
So I have a small software client on my windows desktop and I tell it
I'm no longer here I'm going to be on my mobile (similar to the
no-ip.com dns updater I use)
The client

Skilled API consultant required - preferablywith Salesforce.com intergration
Because it's a new service without much traction and I need something
now and also because this will be a fairly large project and as such I
don't want to use a third party service to collect a 'fee'.

Orative
Has anyone heard anything about these guys? Anyone seen anything like
this?
http://www.orative.com/solutions.php
It's seems very cool, basically uses GPRS as a digital overlay on your
mobile phone for additional functionality such as presence and IM though
I'm sure they have some other functionality (voicemail access, call
announce etc) coming down the pipeline.
Any thoughts,

Installing the none commercial intel g729 codecsinto Asterisk@Home 2.2?
Thanks but this is for a test, I didn't buy the first one as it's a non commercial installation. I'm trying to test bandwidth etc so I need to try out how 4 of them handle the link simultaneously, I just don't know how to add a second test license.

Skilled API consultant required - preferably with Salesforce.com intergration
Hi all,
I was just on the phone with a B2C company in Australia who are looking
to integrate an Asterisk solution with their Salesforce.com CRM
platform.
They are looking for a consultant/team to provide the following
functionality
* Complex IVR
Eg can interface via API into Salesforce for customer service
interaction and product initiation.
* Call centre
Eg basic queues,
