GSM ISDN gateway to quadbri NT port under bristuffed Asterisk - where to set gain (I have unreliable inband dtmf recognition )?
Hi,
I'm getting unreliable dtmf recognition (it works fine for 4-5 digits,
errors (duplicates) on more), when transferred inband from gsm gateway to NT
port of quadbri under bristuffed Asterisk.....
Since Asterisk is claimed to have good dtmf recognizer, I suspect there are
some settings to workarouned... I've tried dtmf relax, but didn't help, so I
suspect gain settings....

GSM Cards for Asterisk (UK)
Hi,
I am currently building a 1.4.4 Asterisk box for a client and they
are interested in GSM functionality.
Does anyone have any experience with a GSM card, preferably Quad Span
(4 GSM modules or higher) for use in the UK. I have seen the
Junghanns* version but I am not keen on the limitation of having to
use a BriStuffed version of Asterisk.
Do Digium make one ? as I am unable to find

chan_capi and bristuff
Hi,
Reading from www.voip-info.org, i can see that "Junghann's chan_capi is now
part of bristuff <http://www.voip-info.org/wiki/view/Bristuff> , as of
version 0.3.0-pre".
What does that really mean ?
Shall I understand I can share a Junghanns QuadBRI board between 2
CAPI-enabled software (like a 0.3.0-pre bristuffed Asterisk for instance) ?
If positive, what are the pros and

Asterisk in Debian/Lenny without Junghanns.net support?
Hi!
Asterisk in Debian/Lenny claims to be bristuffed, not? At least the
the Debian patch tracking system shows the bristuff-patches:

We have a QuadBRI-Card and recently needed support from Junghanns.net
but they refused telling us there is no bristuff installed because of

I have a problem with the Bristuffed version of Asterisk. I have tried

Connecting quadbri to EuroISDN with 2 TE and 2 NT ports - what cables and settings ?
Hi,
I'm trying to connect quadbri between powered ISDN phone and ISDN line:
ISDN <---1---> TE - * - NT <--2--> Phone
I use quadbri, suse 9.2 and latest 0.2.0-RC7k bristuff. I've used sample
settings provided with package, but do get strange error (I think that I
have wrong setting for P2P or P2MP setting and cables 1 and 2).
If I connect phone to ISDN with straight cable

chan_zap.c:8050 pri_dchannel: Ring requested on unconfigured channel 255/255 span 2
I have a serious problem that repeats very often, after 30 - 50 calls
and I can only solve it by stopped and restarting * :-(
After a while, * seems to loose track of something. When an ISDN call
from PBX needs to go to the Telco, I get
'Ring requested on unconfigured channel 255/255 span 2'
It's always channel 255/255 ??, the 'span' number is random

BRIstuff/QuadBRI problem: Ring requested on unconfigured channel 255/255 span 5
Hi all,
I'm running a stable Asterisk on a HP DL380G2 1.4Ghz 0,5GB RAM
equipped with 1x TE410P and 2xJunghanns QuadBRI running in NT-mode.
Connected to the BRI-Ports are 12 Fax-Modems (Elsa MicroLink ISDN/TL V.34)
which are only operating in dial out analog mode to deliver fax messages.
After a while of running fine (50-200 dial out connections)
on some S0 spans the following message occurs

QuadBRI: How to set the outgoing callerid (KPN - NL)
Hello all,
Recently I purchased an QuadBRI card from junghanns.net after some
playing around, reconfiguring dialplans etc with the exception of 1
thing everything seems to work:
I seem to be unable to set the outbound callerid. The dutch telecom
operator (KPN) provided me with 4 MSN's on 1 BRI interface. In the past
years I'm more then used to setting the MSN without the leading 0, this

So many Asterisk Patches - Which do I choose and use?
Ok,
I usually use the latest stable CVS, with no patches or modifications. If
figured if there was a worthwhile patch, Mark would have already included
it. However, there was that neat patch about being able to press a certain
key and it'd begin recording in mid-stream, that was an awesome feature and
I patched my latest features.c file with that patch. But I keep seeing
mentions of other

Quadbri Cellular Issue
Hello everybody, and first of all sorry for my poor English.
I'm having trouble with Quadbri installed on Asterisk
1.2.17-BRIstuffed-0.3.0-PRE-1y-e. Everything is working fine, except calling
to switched off or "out of coverage" cell phones. In this case I have to
wait 40 seconds until Asterisk tell me that "all circuits are busy now"
instead of receive cell phone

1.0.2-BRIstuffed-0.2.0-RC2b and '*8' calls dropping
I'm using Asterisk 1.0.2-BRIstuffed-0.2.0-RC2b - when anyone picks up a
call with '*8' - the call will drop after about 20 or so seconds. Is
this a general problem with Asterisk 1.0.2?
As this is the latest release that it appears Klaus-Peter Junghanns has
for public consumption - is there anything I can patch for just this
problem - or has Klaus-Peter Junghanns (or anyone else) been

rxfax trouble on bristuffed capi
Hi all,
My BRIstuffed 0.2.0-RC7k is running fine on my debian box for voice calls
over ISDN2.
Now I want to implement receiving incoming faxes into my setup so I did a
google and some reading on the wiki.
I got the spandsp 0.0.2pre10 package compiled and installed, patched
asterisk's apps makefile and compiled * again.
This all worked out fine.
When integrating the RxFax into my dialplan the

Disa - how it returns on user not dialing any numbers ?
Hi,
I'd like to use DISA properly for my case - I'd like to handle it right, if
user when in DISA doesn't dial any number - how does Asterisk return from
DISA cmd ?
I'd like to dial some default number if user doesn't dial anything or give
him some message - but I don't know what gets executed after DISA if nothing
is dialed ....
I'm reading this on wiki, but

Asterisk 1.0.5-BRIstuffed-0.2.0-RC5 caller id?
I tried to get callerid working the normal way but the cid is never passed
to the phone.
It doesn't work untill I set SetCIDNum(0${PRI_NETWORK_CID}) in
extensions.conf
which I found in the wiki:
http://www.voip-info.org/tiki-print.php?page=Asterisk+zaphfc
Is this intended behaviour, or still a bug?
It does work but it only shows one zero even though I have

receiving fax with junghanns quadbri bristuff
Hey,
anyone know if it's possible to receive faxes through a Junghanns bristuff
quadbri card?
In germany, currently I have faxes coming in on DID line into QuadBRI and
then passing to Digium TDM400 (analog) and into faxmachine. But the
reliability of TDM card is spotty, so I want to maybe just accept faxes in
on ISDN card and save on asterisk system ...? keeping digital signal strong
