florz patch for bristuff breaks compile on x86_64?
After upgrading a CentOS 3.x box to CentOS 4.1 (both x86_64 with an
Athlon64) I also wanted to get the latest bristuff. Unfortunately
bristuff without florz causes the box to kernel panic within hours
(console will complain about bad frame received something).
It seems however that the florz patch will not work for x86_64 arch.
Bristuff -0.2.0-RC8j compiles fine without the florz patch, but

zaphfc: empty HDLC frame or bad CRC received
Hi, i've downloaded/compiled/installed the bristuffed asterisk
Asterisk 1.0.7-BRIstuffed-0.2.0-RC8a
and i'm using it with an hfc card. It runs on a debian 3.1 sarge machine
with kernel 2.6.11. Asterisk works well if i configure the card using
isdn4linux.
I'm having problems dialing out (not tried the input yet).
This is the output from asterisk:

Florz patch for zaphfc
Has anyone had any success using the Florz patch for zaphfc ?
I have a * system with 2 HFC cards which is working fine with 2 PTP ISDN
lines however the users are complaining of crackles on the line which I am
assuming is related to the IRQ issues raised by Florz.
I have tried to use the patch but it errors trying to patch zaphfc.h
Any help would be appreciated.

Stuart

Bristuff-0.3.0-PRE-1q and & florz patch compile trouble
Again trouble compiling bristuff-0.3.0-PRE-1q with the florz patch on a
x86_64 box (I guess nobody is using x86_64 platform or is able to fix this
themselves?)
First of all when bristuff is downloaded and compile is started it appears
that the bristuff Makefiles are badly broken.
The asterisk Makefiles all do see to find the kernel sources on a RHEL4
box in the proper directory, the pure

my hfc card does not like Siemens
Hello,
I tried to connect my Siemens ISDN 4170 cordless small PBX to the
asterisk with an Acer HFC isdn card but I have not seen any success. The
asterisk can see the card but no success to receive or dial a call. The
Siemens 4170 gives fault in all the handsets with trying to dial and
does not receives anything.
I have linux kernel 2.4.29, asterisk CVS-v1-0-03/12/05-17, zaphfc

Re: BRI cards, HFC, and bristuff - a general questionto clear up my understanding.
Does anyone test Asterisk 1.2.X + bristuff-0.3.X and TDM card? We can't
get it to work.

IAX or IAX2 ?
Hi,
I have read the wiki entries on IAX(2), but I'm afraid, it still have some
questions:
I have a working connection between two Asterisk-Servers (Asterisk
1.0.7-BRIstuffed-0.2.0-RC7k on Debian 3.1) via IAX.
Does this connection work with IAX or IAX2?
When I try to load chan_iax2.so, I get the error message

Corrupt CDR records in Asterisk 1.2.x
I have a problem with CDR recording in Asterisk 1.2.x. This is the
situation:
An Asterisk 1.2.0 (BRIstuffed-0.3.0-PRE-1 with florz) machine with a single
HFC-S ISDN BRI card. I log the call records to both the Master.csv and
MySQL.
The problem is that when an incoming call from the ISDN line is logged to
the CDR, the "src" and the "clid" field show up as something like

ZAP ISDN losing digits
Hi all,
I got into a strange problem here. I've got an asterisk box with
bristuff-0.2.0-RC7k, and a HFC PCI ISDN card, running in NT mode.
The ISDN card is connected to a S0 bus and to a Siemens ISDN PBX. Two phones
are connected to the ISDN PBX and are successfully getting calls from the
asterisk box.
When dialling from one of the phones, the ZAP channel seems to be missing

ISDN D-channel disconnects for a minute every 5 minutes
I have a problem with Asterisk-bristuffed using a zaphfc card.
I am located in the Netherlands, so I have an ISDN line from KPN. When I
start Asterisk, and plug in the ISDN line, everything works perfectly for
about 5 minutes. And then the ISDN line is down for 1 minute, and after that
minute, the line comes back up and works for another 5 minutes. Every time
the line goes down I get the error

HFC-S
Hi!
I have just installed Redhat 9 and Asterisk to my computer, and now i have
problems with my non-zaptel Card, I don't know how to set it up since all
instructions are for digium's hardware.
I have searched from the Internet for hours now, can you help me to understand
all this HFC-s thing and how it is related to CAPI, ISDN4Linux, bristuff and so
on.
I have to say that I am not so

zaptel, bristuff zaphfc, and florz question
Hi,
We've been using zaphfc single ISDN cards as cheap Zaptel timing
sources for our Asterisk boxes for a long time, and in the asterisk
1.0.x series, had zero problems doing so.
I now have some boxes with Zaptel 1.2.x (with a mixture of 1.0.x
asterisk and 1.2.x asterisk), and this setup no-longer seems stable -
By plugging or unplugging the ISDN cable, and sometimes just randomly

Problem with '#' key recognition
Hi,
I seem to be unable to get Asterisk to recognise the '#' key being
pressed to acknowledge an incoming call from a queue. No matter how many
times I press the key to acknowledge, the Asterisk server acts as if I
have not.
I have installed the ztdummy module, and it seems that Asterisk is
picking it up OK (mainly since it's not moaning about permissions for
IAX timing any

Running applications when a queued call is answered
Hello,
I'm experimenting with Asterisk for possible use in a call center.
I'm trying to figure out how to run applications when an agent answers
a call in the queue. I see that the queue itself supports a very
limited range of applications; for example, I can give a URL to the
Queue() application to SendURL(), or an announcement to read to the
agent. I'd like to do some slightly

Bristuff-0.2.0-RC5 florz patched weird error and no outgoing calls?
I applied the florz patch but my problems remain. Now I get all sorts
of weird errors on the console and I cannot make outgoing calls. Incoming
calls work as expected. I am using a single HFC-S card with BRI.
Any clue what these errors below are?

huge problem compiling * on gcc4.x (SUSE 10.0)
Hello to all of you!
I'm very new to this list and to asterisk and stuff at all.
To build my asterisk server I installed a new machine running the new
SUSE Linux 10.0 (retail version on DVD).
I need asterisk (tried 1.0.9), bristuff (off junghanns.net,
-0.2.0-RC8o) and the florz-patch because I have two HFC-S-ISDN cards
in that machine.
Now when it comes to compiling I get a huge bunch of
