Leading '0's and what do 'pri_dialplan', 'pridialplan' and 'prilocaldialplan' in zapata.conf do?
Hi all, I've been batting my head against a brick wall for the best part of the day and still haven't got any further (apart from getting a big headache, that is). I've searched the Wiki and Googled the hours away, but I still can't find supportive documentation. I've just replaced my ISDN Fritz!/chan_capi setup with a HFC/Zap configuration and had the following problems: 1

Zaptel ISDN BRI settings for The Netherlands KPN
Hi list! I am installing an * box that will be installed on a site with KPN BRI ISDN in The Netherlands. I am using bristuff fron Junghanns. Does anybody know the correct settings for this? I will not have internet access there which makes it harder to google around on location. switchtype = euroisdn is pretty obvious but what about these settings: signalling = bri_cpe_ptmp ; p2p TE mode

E1 signalling pridialplan
Hello, I have a little problem with signalling. An E100p is connected to an Alcatel PBX, wich has an E1 to the outside. Located in Germany. zapata.conf: switchtype=euroisdn pridialplan=local prilocaldialplan=local overlapdial=yes signalling=pri_cpe .... With asterisk 1.0.2 I can call from a SIP phone to a phone connected to the Alcatel and the SIP number is correctly displayed at the caller.

Problem with calls starting from a legacy PBX
Hi, I have this setup: E1 PRI PSTN -- Asterisk -- Alcatel PBX - analog phones Can someone tell me what's wrong with this call initiating from an analog phone connected to Alcatel PBX? It dies with NOANSWER but all works if I call other destination numbers. Dialplan is a simple Dial(zap/g1/0984465691) statement. At the end you'll find also zapata.conf.

Strange MSN issue with HFC-s

When I connect the two boards together, I can dial extensions and I see the correct called and caller ID numbers: -- Executing SetCallerID("Zap/2-1", "7516862") in new stack == CDR updated on Zap/2-1 -- Executing Dial("Zap/2-1", "Zap/g2/0795025602|30|r") in new stack --

Pridialplan/ prilocaldialplan
Hi I'm beginner in list. I have doubts about the options pridialplan and prilocaldiaplan in chan_dahdi.conf. I interconnect the Asterisk with a Siemens PBX, but i saw that the changes in the file do not take effect in debug of the span or calling/called number. How to use this options? In that cases to use? Ps.: sorry for the english, i'm brazilian. Thanks -- Att, Rafael Saraiva

Type Of Number setting (pridialplan) is not effective
Hello, I have an Asterisk system in the UK using ISDN service from BT. My problem is that the called number is always passed to the provider with the Type Of Number declared as ?national? despite pridialplan (and prilocaldialplan) is set to ?unknown?. My questions are: - How can I find out what the effective value is for the above two variables without actually making a call? (I have very

Possible to send Calling Number as TON: international ?
Hi all, I have Asterisk working great for a while now, and until now, only needed to forward calls which originate from one country (Holland, +31). We have a Wildcard TE410P card and configured it in zapata.conf as: switchtype: euroisdn pridialplan: unknown ...etc This was all fine, but now we want to also forward calls to the voice-switch with a calling-number with a different country code.

QuadBRI: How to set the outgoing callerid (KPN - NL)
Hello all, Recently I purchased an QuadBRI card from junghanns.net after some playing around, reconfiguring dialplans etc with the exception of 1 thing everything seems to work: I seem to be unable to set the outbound callerid. The dutch telecom operator (KPN) provided me with 4 MSN's on 1 BRI interface. In the past years I'm more then used to setting the MSN without the leading 0, this

Zapata, Junghanns Card and a leading 0 on inbound calls
Hi, I'm using a Junghanns Quadbri ISDN card on some lines from the Austrian Telekom. Things are working, the only missing stuff is to add a "0" as a prefix to each incoming call, to make it possible to answer missed call lists. I'm using the 0 as the prefix for outside lines. I've experimented a little with the prefix settings in zapata.conf, but without success:
