X100P and UK CallerID
Hi, I'm currently running asterisk 1.0.9-r1 and zaptel 1.0.9_p1-r1 (the current gentoo ~x86 versions), with the UK CallerID patches from http://www.lusyn.com/asterisk/patches.html applied. The Zap interface itself seems to work fairly well - although it's a little quiet, there is no echo. Unfortunately, there's also no CallerID. My zapata.conf is as follows: [channels]

CallWaiting CallerID
Hi all, In order to get the CallerID from PSTN (X100P) I have modified callerid.c file like that: callerid.c [line 256] from: case 3: /* Number (for Zebble) */ to /*case 3: Number (for Zebble) */ Without this modification my own number was displayed as the inoming call CallerID. Now I want to go further. I have activated CallWaiting support on the POTS line. When someone calls and I am in

CallerID, DECT phones and ATA
Hi, I have two DECT cordless phones (one Philips Onis 6311 and one Philips Onis2 Memo-6511). The first one is for the french standard and the second one for the british standard. Both of them have callerid functionality. The british one does not show anything when connected to my PSTN line. I have not yet tested the french one. What I want to do is to connect both of them to the same ATA box.

CallerID hosed
This is with an x100p (the motorola chipset) Two problems. Looks like CALLERIDNAME is being used uninitialized. On my other phones the callerid is fine and my buttset shows that the callerid passes the checksum. This is the relevant portion of extensions.conf exten => s,1,Answer exten => s,2,SetCallerID(H ${CALLERIDNAME} <${CALLERIDNUM}>) exten => s,2,Dial(${MGCP_ALL}) Here is

UK Callerid bug #1719 & TDM400p
Hi Is this patch (http://bugs.digium.com/bug_view_page.php?bug_id=0001719) the best/only way to get callerid working in the UK with a tdm400p? I thought I'd seen a patch that'd gone into cvs, but maybe I was just imagining things ;) Should this patch work against current cvs? Of the 3 files 2 are .patch and one is .diff - what's the difference between them, and how should I

Hi all, I can't seem to find any info on this anywhere on the web, except that BT caller ID doesnt use the standard bellcore system in use in the US. So, if anyone here in the UK is onlist and using the x100p successfully, please let me know. TIA, Dave

Asterisk 1.2.2 - Double Quote on CallerID Causing SIP Problem (7940)
Hi, I just upgraded by 1.0.x home server to 1.2.2. Overall the upgrade went fine, but a strange problem has cropped up with the CALLERID name value of incoming calls from the X101P card. When an incoming call is presented (via Vonage ATA), the calledid value getting double quotes up from: -- Executing NoOp("Zap/1-1", """WIRELESS CALLE" <1404xxxxxxx>") in

Callerid fails in any release after beta1 fails
I have 1 x100p. Caller id works fine with the beta1 release. Cvshead releases fail with a combination of checksum and ss_thread errors? I'm concerned when beta2 or the 1.2 release comes out it will not work. I have been through the configs I can't find and changes that need to be made to get CVSHEAD to work. Thanks John Hill

X100P in Australia
G'Day, I need from regarding using the X100P. Some are specific to Australia and I have been told in IRC there are already existing users in oz, so I would appreciate your input. 1) Is the X100P Australia telco approved? 2) I have setup asterisk with X100P and whenever I dial in I cannot get any callerid information. Is this standard behaviour? If not how have other australian users managed

zaphfc - TE mode - callerid trouble
I've got a bit trouble with callerid and zaphfc cards. Basically zaphfc doesn't add the "0" in front of national numbers (haven't tried a international call yet). With chan_capi that allways worked fine, however i had to define the national and international prefixes in capi.conf. Is there something similar in zapata.conf ? Here is my zapata.conf: [channels]

CallerID after Supervised Transfer
Is there a way to keep the incoming CallerID from the PSTN and pass it onto the sip phone receiving the supervised call transfer? The receptionist receives the PSTN callerID, performs a supervised transfer, we get her local SIP callerID, not the original callers. The main reason we would like the true callerID is for asterisk monitor to name the file correctly for call records. Is this

X100P not answering
I have an Asterisk server running todays CVS (updated it just in case that was the problem). It has 3 X100P cards. The first two lines I use as my normal work lines and the third is my fax line which I use with SpanDSP. I run Fedora Core 4. I have a problem that the third X100P does not answer the call. From the console I can see that there is an incoming call with the following: --

Need help configuring TDM10B / X100P Cards
Hi, Would someone assist me with the configuration of my TMD10B and X100P cards? I would ask Digium but my support was good for only one install...( I had to rebuild my * box). I wrote down the configuration but I must have made a mistake somewhere. I have followed the instructions on the Digium site but I must be missing something. Here's the config (snippets) I've been attempting to

My questions are: As there are 8 digital lines is this known as PRI? Which Digium card would be the best fit? Would you recommend looking at the echo cancellation cards? We are UK based: is caller id supported by Asterisk

debugging callerid help
I've got a rather strange callerid problem and don't know how to debug it. I've got two X100P cards installed in a RH9 box and both are connected to individual pstn pots lines. Both are equipped with callerid and both display callerid info on regular analog phones (verified 100%). Incoming and outgoing calls are handled just fine. When an incoming call arrives on one X100P card, *
