Follow-me challenge
The problem I am running into is that when the call to my cellphone is made,
it appears as though the call "completes" so it never rolls to asterisk
voicemail.
Here is my current config:

exten => 102,n,playback(pls-wait-connect-call)
exten => 102,n,Dial(IAX2/asterisk1/9139275900,10,r)

Help with follow me
I hope someone can help me with this. This is what I want to happen.
Someone dials in and goes to my extension.
First, the phone on my desk rings
If there is not an answer, I would like to have the dialplan call my cell
phone. If I answer my cell phone, speak the incomming number to me. I
press one of the buttons on my cell phone to accept the call.
If I don't answer, or I don't

Stopping reinvite with IAX2?
Hi All,
I'm using DISA on my * server to avoid overseas toll charges when
making calls to Western Europe from my cell phone. I have DISA working
with a DID from a VoicePulse Connect account. The outgoing call to
Europe is also made via Voicepulse Connect.
I see that the IAX media path is bridging the inbound call to the
outbound call so that the media stream entirely bypasses my server once

Call forwarding of IAX inbound call
I am trying to do the following:
1. Call comes in to my * box over IAX (VP Connect DID)
2. Check to see if call should be forwarded to my cell
3. Forward the call to my cell phone and take * out of the media path.
I am able to do all of the above except * is not able to natively
bridge the call. I am using sixtel and for the call forward portion,
but the calls don't connect before sixtel

Answer confirmation on non-Zap channels?
I was looking at the sample "follow me" config
(http://www.voip-info.org/wiki-Asterisk+Tips+follow+me
<http://www.voip-info.org/wiki-Asterisk+Tips+follow+me> ) which uses a
dial modifier 'c' to enable Answer confirmation - "If the letter c
follows, then "Answer Confirmation" is requested, in which the call is
not considered answered until the called user

Looking for better "Follow Me"
Hi everybody :)
I am a new member here and hope that someone gives me a hint for my problem:
Let's say I am at work and my SIP phone (KPhone in my case) is connected to my
private Asterisk. I want to call my wife at home so her SIP phone rings. She
does not pick up the phone (maybe she is somewhere in the house and has to
run to the phone) so after 15 seconds her cell phone should ring.

bridging - Didn't get a frame from channel
Hi,
I am having a difficulty with
getting two realtime user?s to bridge on answer. I have managed successfully to
bridge the same two users/channels via the Bridge Manager api command and
confirm that the two communicate directly bypassing the asterisk server (I
confirmed this with Wireshark).
Does anyone have some ideas? I have
put some log entries below.
I haven?t attached my

Follow-me to my answering machine :-(
Hello asterisk users!
I, like many people, have a cell phone. I also have some SIP phone
devices (software and hardware). I'd like to have one number that
rings all my phones and routes the call to wherever I pick up.
However, my cell phone has its own call forwarding voicemail. I can't
just turn that off, because then direct-to-cell calls wouldn't ever get
to voicemail - that

Looping Problem With Call Forwards - Do you have comments on my solution?
I use IP Kall to forward my missed cell phone calls to. This way, if my
phone is off, or out of a service area, calls will go to my * box.
Concurrently, all incoming calls to my * box cause it to dial my local
extensions at home, my extension at work, and my cell phone via NuFone.
Problem: A loop can be created if my cell phone is not on. Say a call comes
into my * box, it uses NuFone to call my

My spa has a mind of its own
I have a Sipura SPA-841.
It's developed a nasty habit. At random times, it likes to dial my cell
phone voicemail number and play my messages to anybody who happens to be
within earshot.
Any clues where to look at what's going on? My voice mail number
(extension 220 in my dialplan) is the only number being dialed.
When this happens, show channels looks like this:

Call Queue Question
Hi,
I've been fussing with this for a while now - and cannot seem to get
it to work correctly - or rather as I desire it..
I'm trying to implement a 'find-me' feature in my voicemail.
Basically - pressing 1 at the voicemail puts the caller into a queue.
The members of the queue are my cell phone and my work DID.. I need
the queue to call both numbers at the same time and wait

Transfer from IAX call
I am using IAX to send a call to my cell phone. I want to be able to hit #
and transfer it back into the office. I have added tTr to the dial command
and hitting # prompts me for the transfer, but after I start dialing 103,
it stops at 1 and tries to transfer it within nufone instead of my
dialplan. This is the debug output:

dialing multiple extensions
I've tried to setup multiple extension dialing - ie dial 1 number and it
rings at a number of sources.
For the most part its worked.... Now if someone dials 107 it rings Sip
phones at 102 and 107, then goes to voicemail after 40 seconds.
exten => 107,1,Dial(SIP/102&SIP/107,40|r)
exten => 107,2,Voicemail(u102@pstn)
exten => 107,3,Hangup

dreaded one-way audio with nat=yes
I'm trying to move the asterisk server to an Amazon Web instance. We
have teliax for our sip provider. I'd like for our DID lines to be
connected to a users cell phone.
Seems simple enough, but I'm getting the dreaded one-way audio, even
with nat=yes everyplace I can think of.
The dialplan is real easy:

asterisk still tries native bridging
Hello,
I've problems with following -
----- --- ---
PSTN | --- isdn --- | A | ----- iax2 ------ | B |
----- --- ---
On [B], there is unconditional call forwarding set back via [A]
(dialparties.agi is used) to PSTN.
So, call from PSTN is routed via [A] to [B] and than back again into
PSTN.

IAX2 trunk mode over satellite
Today has been the day for satellite questions, apparently, so I'll
proxy one out to the rest of the community... I asked this
tangentially a month or two ago, but I'll put it in a more blunt way:
If you have IAX2 trunking mode experience over satellite, please let
us know your experiences with that protocol/transport combination.
I've got several people asking about IAX2 and

Caller ID matching
What's going on here? 555* seems to indicate that the number is being
passed as the callerID because NoOp says the phone number.
I'm trying to emulate cell phone voicemail where you call your own number to
check your voicemail.

Follow Me
Ernest,
I hadn't thought of doing that, though having that added protection would
be nice. However, what I'm trying to do it have an incoming call at my home
number follow me to my cell phone for selected numbers -- Since I already
have three way calling, I'd like get Asterisk to essentially three way my
cell phone into the call (or my office number, etc.) I understand the
