Sipura SPA-841 Volume Oscillation Problem
Hi all,
The problem is on the volume of the voice sent by the SPA-841. I think the
echo cancel algorithm sets a limit to the microphone when detects sounds or
noise from the earphone. This problem generates an oscillation on the voice
volume sent by the phone and even turns it off completely for very little
lapses of time making the communication very uncomfortable. I manage three

PHP/AGI Problem
Hi
I am currently developing a IVR application using
PHP/AGI. I am using the PHPAGI class at
http://phpagi.sourceforge.net/ to handle the
commuication with my *.
The application basically asks a caller to enter in
some information which is then processed and a answer
is read back out to them. I want the application to
loop back to the beginning after giving the answer so
they can try another

Issue call quality: Asterisk call quality on trunks
Good afteroon all,
First of all: thanks for everybody who is willing to think this through with me:
I'm having some issues regarding call quality between some calls. Let me try to explain the situation first
We have a Asterisk 11.16 server based on the Xivo distribution. There are 2 servers running in cluster (Active Passive), both virtual with the following config:

Why does "sip show peers" show my router/gateway address as the client IP address?
Hi Everyone,
I am using pfSense to do firewall and NAT on an Asterisk server. I have
ports 5060 TCP/UDP and 10k-20k UDP forwarded to the Asterisk server local IP
192.168.5.5. However, when a user from outside using Linksys WRP400 ata
connects to the Asterisk server and registers I see them as 192.168.1.1 in
the "sip show peers" command. In face, all many different of the Linksys

Upgraded to 13 and now "Mailbox" is empty in sip show peers
Using realtime for SIP.
Using standard DB schema.
Tried mailbox as varchar(50) and bigint(10)
"sip show peer XXX" shows "Mailbox: " (empty)
So MWI isn't working
This happened before when we tried to go up to 1.8, so we stayed at 1.4
We're forced to go to 13 now. Obviously a lack of MWI is a big issue for
500 units.
Any idea why we're not getting it?

sip show peers weirdness
Hey Everyone,
This is not an operational issue, and to my knowledge only effects the
look of the command, but when I issue a "sip reload" then a "sip show
peers" I see all of the actual usernames I have assigned in my sip.conf.
However, five minutes later I reissue the sip show peers and all of the
usernames have disappeared and are replaced by the sip ID. The only way
to get

realtime: sip show users/peers
I don't see anything with sip show users and sip show peers, however it
works!
Is there a trick?
I have installed realtime (sipbuddies) on one machine and see sip show
peers/users and on my new installed system I don't.
Have I forgotten something?

Name/username (sip show peers)
How can I make it more readable?
Name/username
601/601
123456789/123456789
voipbuster/abcd
601 = hotline
123456789 = Peter Pan
only voipbuster/abcd is easy read/understandable!

asterisk -rx 'sip show peers'
I upgraded recently to Asterisk SVN-branch-1.2-r25165M
the commandline
asterisk -rx 'sip show peers'
returns with the first line:
on
Is that a bug, or how can I omit it?
I used:
asterisk -rx 'sip show peers'|grep OK|sort | tee /dev/tty |wc -l; echo "
registered at ELMIT"
which results (because of on) to:
Binary file (standard input) matches

Correct latency values in "sip show peers"
I was wondering if anyone knows how accurate the values are when you do a
"sip show peers" from the CLI.
My configuration is:
Asterisk box (192.168.1.102) -> gigabit switch <- PC running x-lite
(192.168.1.100)
the CLI reports 101 ms delay
however, ping is showing <1ms delay
Where is the extra 100ms coming from? The softphone response?
Here is a dump of some data:
