texture dimension limits in ddx
in nv10_exa.c :
check_texture does :
if (w > 2046 || h > 2046)
NOUVEAU_FALLBACK("picture too large, %dx%d\n", w, h);
check_render_target does :
if (w > 4096 || h > 4096)
return FALSE;
So we have different size limits for the source and the destination ?
Another thing is that nv20 uses nv10_exa.c code, and the limit in

How to improve the robustness of "loess"? - example included.
Hi,
I posted a message earlier entitled "How to fit a line through the
"Mountain crest" ..."
I figured loess is probably the best way, but it seems that the
problem is the robustness of the fit. Below I paste an example to
illustrate the problem:
tmp=rnorm(2000)
X.background = 5+tmp; Y.background = 5+ (10*tmp+rnorm(2000))
X.specific = 3.5+3*runif(1000);

cut.Date problem when starting on first day of week (PR#13159)
Apparently any (?) call of the form
cut(date,"weeks")
where the date *begins the week*, gives the error
Error in 1:(1 + max(which(breaks < maxx))) :
result would be too long a vector
In addition: Warning message:
In max(which(breaks < maxx)) :
no non-missing arguments to max; returning -Inf
To my surprise, this was first reported as a problem in 2006 (!)

problem with cut.Date/date plotting in ggplot2
I've hit a problem in ggplot2 which I can trace back to cut.Date ,
which is either a bug or (??) ggplot2 trying to do something it
shouldn't with cut.Date (although its use of cut.Date seems OK).
Apparently any (?) call of the form
cut(as.Date("2008-07-07"),"weeks")
where the date *begins the week*, gives the error

Looking for a good VoIP Provider in the UK-
Any recommendations for a VoIP provider in the UK?
I have a few guys in a field office in the UK with SIP phones and a VPN
tunnel back to a working Asterisk setup in the US. The Asterisk setup
has an IAX trunk with TelaSIP/VoipXpress with local DiD's for US
offices, so they can call vendors, customers etc in the US at local
rates. I'd like to get the same thing for the UK, so that UK

Videoconferencing solutions with Asterisk-
Does anyone have any experience with this? We're looking to deploy a
pretty robust HiDef Video Conferencing solution, and if it were built
around Asterisk, that'd be a huge bonus. It looks like a bounty was
offered on it for a while with no results, and now an Indian company -
Adiance - claims to have a solution, but I can't find any real feedback
on it from end users.

Resampling Help Needed
I am using package ks() to build 3D representations of bird territories and
calculate territory volume from spatial data (simply x, y, and z
coordinates). What I want to do is determine at what sample size (#
locations collected) does the territory volume stop increasing. This should
give me an idea of the number of points needed for future seasons.
So I have a couple of birds each with 200

[PATCH RFC] drm: Add update_native_mode callback to connectors
When reading EDID from firmware file, the nouveau driver can not setup
it's native_mode like when reading EDID from hardware.
Add this callback to allow driver to update their native_mode.

A plotting question - how to get error bars?
Dear R list,
Can anyone help with a plotting question? I'm trying to display some data
on a plot and I've almost got the format I need (see code below), but 2
things I can't get:
1. How to get "Jan","Feb","Mar" on the x=axis instead of 1:3?
2. How to get "T"s on the end of my error bars like you have in standard
scientific plots?
Any comments

Using special characters
Dear R users
I'm having problems in putting special characters (like 佱, 併, 佺 ) in my plots, as much in titles, as in axis names, as in legend...when I save them as a pdf document. They don't appear...
I don't know if it is because I'm using a linux platform...
The script is the following:

Problem with a new italian service provider...
I've a problem connecting uniVoice (http://voice.uni.it) from asterisk.
Using my account data I can place a call smoothly using xlite or my

from asterisk.
Registration seems to work correctly, but when I try do dial, the sip
authentication fails every time.
Their tech people told me that they are unable to make

Producing different text formats in R
Dear all,
I am facing a strange problem with text files formats.
I am currently using a C++ code named voro++ (http://math.lbl.gov/voro++/). This code accepts text files with four columns:
<id> <x> <y> <z>
where id is an identification number and x,y,z are the coordinates of a point in a 3D space.
The input file, name it myfile_cpp.txt, is generated by another C++ code

Dialing Ring Groups from the Digital Receptionist-
Hi!
I've got a number of extensions (about 50) on a working Asterisk setup.
For each user, I have two extensions configured (for example 11021 for a
Cisco 79XX phone and 11022 for X-Lite), and a ring group that ties the
two extensions together (for example, 1102). Reason being that if the
user is away from his/her desk or working offsite, they can answer the
soft phone on the PC.

meetme - conf-invalid
Hi Peoples
I am having problems with meetme, in that it responds with "conf-invalid"
when I dial a conference number.
I notice that there is a note with regards to ztdummy, and the need for that
to be loaded. Is this still the case?
Is meetme dependent on this module? I do NOT use zaptel cards in my system,
and there for zaptel is not loading.
Can anyone shed some light

CentOS mailing list probe message (fwd)
With the latest message I send to the CentOS list I got this strange
'probe' message. The included bounce example has nothing to do with my
email-adres, but rather with someone subscribed to the list.
So it seems that somehow the mailinglist manager is sending bounces to the
wrong email-adres. Or I do not understand the 'probe' message (and the
included bounce message) at all.
