Voicemail systems- flow charts, digit/key cards, etc
Does anyone have flow charts or digit/key cards for some of the more popular voicemail systems out there?
(shows which digits/keys to press, where it takes you, etc.)
I need to create some of the new voicemail system.
Send 'em my way if you have them.

false answer on zaptel
Hi,
I have an x100p zaptel card with asterisk 1.4. I'm using the system for
outgoing calls.
My problem is that Answer() is falsely returning while the call is still
ringing and was not really answered yet. I've been digging google, wikis
but have not found what might be causing this. SIP works fine, this
problem seems to be only zaptel specific.
I could use the NVLineDetect application

Software SIP fax client
Does anyone know of a software SIP fax client? Something I can install on a PC which connects to the asterisk server and sends/receives faxes? Something like XLite - but to fax instead of to phone.
I know of the "fax machine connected to an ATA" solution, but that's not really what I'm looking for :-)
Thanks

Fax receive issues and NVFaxDetect
Hello All,
I am looking to get asterisk to receive faxes but I really don't know where to go from here, any help pointing me in the right direction would be great. What I would really like is for this second line to answer faxes, but if a user typing in an extension it goes to that extension but I need to get the fax working first.
Error I get when I turn on Fax conf...

New voicemail app (supports many interfaces, including Audix)
We just completed a new implementation of voicemail for Asterisk. It's much cleaner than Comedian mail and can emulate several voicemail user interfaces, including Audix. It's a great replacement for Audix. All of the sounds/prompts are presently being re-recorded by a professional female voice.
If you are interest in the app, let us know at nt_jnewman at yahoo.com.

gsub() and parenthesis symbols -- solved
Hello again --
inevitably, I discovered the (documented) answer 30 seconds after
sending my question.
Using gsub(...,extended=FALSE) is the way to avoid this issue.
Cheers,
Kieran

make errors while compiling
Dear R users -
I am a first-time R user trying to compile v.0.90.0 under Caldera
OpenLinux 2.3, on a Dell PII400/128. I've encountered a problem with the
make file.
First, I run configure, which appears to complete properly. (I had to
download an updated gcc library from caldera for this to happen though.)
At the end of its run, config reports:

[Bridge] [PATCH 1/1] bridge: fix message_age_timer calculation
This changes the message_age_timer calculation to use the BPDU's max age as opposed to the local bridge's max age. This is in accordance with section 8.6.2.3.2 Step 2 of the 802.1D-1998 sprecification.
With the current implementation, when running with very large bridge diameters, convergance will not always occur even if a root bridge is configured to have a longer max age.

[LLVMdev] fptoui calling a function that modifies ECX
I've applied this and the test cases I have here continue to work, so it
looks good to me.
I've ran into another (seemingly unrelated) issue which I'll describe in
a separate email to the dev list.

[LLVMdev] llvm.x86.sse2.sqrt.pd not using sqrtpd, calling a function that modifies ECX
The calls represent the MSVC _ftol2 function I think.

[LLVMdev] fptoui calling a function that modifies ECX
That does appear to have worked. All my tests are passing now.
I'll hand this out to our other devs & testers and make sure it's
working for them as well (not just on my machine).
Thank you, again.

[LLVMdev] fptoui calling a function that modifies ECX
Oh, excellent point, I agree. My bad. Now that I'm not assuming those
are the sqrt, I see the sqrtpd's in the output. Also there are three
fptoui's and there are 3 call instances.
(Changing subject line again.)
Now it looks like it's bug #13862
