Asterisk Hardware Requirements for a 50-100 Seat Call Center
I am looking for estimated hardware requirements for running a 50 to 100 seat call center off of a single Asterisk server. The Asterisk server will have one quad T1 card installed (probably a Digium TE410P) with two T1s connected. The OS is Debian GNU/Linux (woody) with a custom 2.4.xx kernel installed. It is preferable for the server to have a single CPU and no shared IRQs. I would really

Digium T1 Card Questions
I have a couple of questions about Digium's T1 cards, such as the TE410P. Any answers would be greatly appreciated. 1) Do they support standard T1s or are they ISDN-only? 2) Do you know of anyone offering support for configuring T1s for Digium cards, and if so at what cost? Thanks, Matthew Roth http://www.voip-info.org/tiki-index.php?page=Running%20Asterisk%20on%20Debian

Headsets for Cisco 7940/7960
What headsets have people found work well with the Cisco 7940 and 7960 phones? To date, I have tried a couple of the headsets within the Plantronics H series (H41-N), and noticed that the volume of my speaking is lower over the headset than on the regular handset. I am currently looking for headsets that are known to work well. I do know that Cisco lists the H-91 and H-101 as certified to

Headsets
Hey Everyone, We are in the process of reviewing headsets for use with our GXP-2000s. I'm looking for some feedback as to which headsets people are using, the pros and cons of those headsets, and if they would recommend them to someone else. Any help would be appreciated... - Jason -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:

Recommended USB Headsets ?
Hi, we are looking to roll out PBX IN A Flash at our office. The first group will be using Soft Phones (X-Lite appears to be the best and works in Windows, Apple & Linux). There are many types of USB Headsets to choose from and a fairly broad price range. Is there any USB headsets people would recommend? I'm specifically interested in acceptable audio (speaker and microphone) quality

headsets for linksys/sipura phones?
I was just browsing my local suppliers list of headsets - not a single one with a single 2.5mm jack. Either USB or 1-2 3.5mm jacks. Can anyone recommend a headset that works with e.g. SPA-921 and -941? /Per Jessen, Z?rich

USB headsets?
Hi, What USB headset would you recomend? We have some laptop soundcards that are really bad and I would be glad if you could share your experiences when changing to a USB headset instead of using the built in soundcard in your computer. Thanks! Regards, Jan

Strange error message from geoR´s likfit () lik. max. func.
ComRades: I am geeting the error message Error in ldots[[which(MET)]] : attempt to select less than one element when I try to fit the geostatistical model with the likfit() function of geoR. I have tried with old data for which likfit() successfully maximised the likelihood in previous versions of geoR, and yet the current version fails. I have tried in Windows Vista and Windows XP (I haven't

SV: USB headsets?
I don't quite follow you? There are USB headsets that don't require a soundcard at all. They have a built in soundcard which (I suppose) could be better than the crap they build into most laptops. In search of Headset Compatible Analog Phone
I have been looking for analog phones for my * system that work with our plantronic amplifiers and headsets. The problem I am having with the Aastra phones that I have purchased (PT-390, 9116, 9120, 8009 ), is that they don't seem to stay hung up unless you physically hang up the handset everytime you finish a call. I have even purchased the Aastra 9120 which sais it has on-hook
