Whenever I press the 'recall' button, I just here a click, and no ring-tone to transfer. in my debug log I get this : -------------------------- Feb 24 09:09:27 DEBUG[19216]: Exception on 10, channel 1 Feb 24 09:09:27 DEBUG[19216]: Got event Pulse Start(14) on channel 1 (index 0) Feb 24

shorting flash time
Is there anyway to change the "flash" time on a TDM400 phone port (a user has a phone that seems to generate a short flash which isn't being picked up). Zap channels stuck in 'Rsrvd' state
I have two Adtran 750's connecting our analog phones to asterisk. On occasion, I get a channel that gets "stuck" off hook. 'show channels' shows: Zap/27-1 (longdistance s 1 ) Rsrvd (None) (None) And will just stay like that until the phone is manually picked up and hung up again (or asterisk is stopped/started). I guess this is a function of an unclean hangup (being

Analog commands
Hi, When I use the analog phone connected to Zap/1 how do I transfer & hold the caller ? When I hit the flash key, all that happens is the caller hears a beep (sounds like DTMF). But no stutter dial tone on the Zap/1 Port, just continuing conversation with the caller. What could be wrong here? Cheers Jay

Setting a minimum 'on-hook' interval?
A couple of weeks ago I posted a message entitled 'Bridged trunks stuck off hook' about a situation where 2 of my trunks (loopstart pots - but Centrex) are occasionally bridged together. It has occurred to me that what may be happening is that a line hung up by Asterisk might quickly be reused and if the time interval is right, the telco will interpret this as a hook-flash. Is there a way

"unclean hangups" can I turn off hook flash?
I'm having problems with unclean hangups (being read as a flash instead of a hangup?). Can I turn off hook flash recognition in asterisk, but still have the flash button on the analog phone operational? Could I use these settings in zapata.conf to fix my problem? *prewink*: Sets the pre-wink timing. *preflash*: Sets the pre-flash timing. *wink*: Sets the wink timing. *rxwink*: Sets the

Hook-flash timing
Hi, Is there any documentation on the fields prewink, preflash, wink, flash, rxwink, rxflash, start and debounce in zapata.conf? The "Recall" button on my phone doesn't seem to trigger a transfer via my shiny new TDM40B. However, tapping the hook does, but only if I tap it for long enough. Presumably the "Recall" button's timing is too short? Further, most users who

Problem with digits blending on inbound puls ed digits?
To answer my own question for the record: The relevant timing parameters in zaptel.h are #define ZT_MINPULSETIME (15 * 8) /* 15 ms minimum */ #define ZT_MAXPULSETIME (100 * 8) /* 150 ms maximum default, lowered to 100ms */ #define ZT_PULSETIMEOUT ((ZT_MAXPULSETIME / 8) + 50) And the pulse detecion loop that consumes these parameters begins at line 4866 of zaptel.c The

Fax and dial-up connection issues
I have a pretty large setup on one of my customers. Digium TE420B (with echo cancelling module), 3 Xorcom Astribanks with 32 FXS each and 1 Xorcom Astribank with 16 FXO. These FXO ports are NOT used for fax/data transmission, as they are connected to cell phones. Not really related to the issue, but there are also 250 SIP phones. The problem is that fax and dial-up connections are really

Hangup Faster
Hello - My single line extension users (connected via channel banks) need to be able to hang up faster. If they just flash the hook it doesn't disconnect right away. Any ideas on how to resolve this? Thanks, Dave -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:

PRI Channel Question
Good Day All, I am experiencing some weirdness using the E&M channel and hope you can offer a little assistance with the problem I am having. 1) call comes into channel 25 (Second Span first channel of a Digium Quad PRI from SBC-PRI) 2) Call is sent to channel 1 (First Span first channel on the Digium Quad PRI connecting an ADTRAN via E&M Feature Group D) 3) Between rings one and two

T1 Card ------ Adtran ------- FXS BUG???
Good Day list, I have googled and wiki'd myself to no avail. Here is my setup. Asterisk Box Digium T1 card connected to an adtran Total Access 624. I need to pass ANI and DNIS information from asterisk to the analog devices hanging off the adtran. The digits are announced to the fxs devices between ring 1 and ring 2 (If I pick up the anlog phone after ring 1, I can hear them so I

odd behavior - adtran ta 850 + t100p
I've been working with an adtran ta 850 hooked to a t100p pretty much all day today, and I haven't gotten past configuring zaptel.conf and zapata.conf. For some reason, when I pick up analog phone hooked up to the first module of a quad fxs card in the second slot of the ta 850, asterisk thinks that all four of the fxs modules in that card are going off hook. If I pick up a phone hooked

Why don't I get a ringing sound?
I am using the following macro to dial a ZAP channel. When I dial in, * answers and I go to voicemail. I never hear any ringing, though. It doesn't work with the Ringing command before or after the Dial command. [macro-zapdial] ; ; call a ZAP extension for ${ARG2} seconds, and then voice mail ; ${ARG1} - Extension ; ${ARG2} - Time to ring exten => s,1,Dial(ZAP/${ARG1},${ARG2}) exten

How to fix a Blue Alarm?? Line Noise?
We are having line noise issues in our Asterisk to legacy PBX integration. All SIP calls originating from IP phones sound crystal clear. All calls that originate from the legacy PBX (Isoetec 228) and route through the Asterisk and out SIP have a lot of line noise. I believe I have it pinned down to these Blue Alarm errors that I can see on the legacy PBX side. zttool shows no alarm but when I
