beronet & bristuff
Hi. I'm trying to get a Beronet QuadBRI card work with bristuff drivers. Though qozap module loads right, all card spans are in deactivated status. I'm quite sure my configuration is correct and using a single BRI card instead of the quadBRI the status is active and I can place and receive calls. On Beronet installation manual I read that Beronet and Junghanns cards are identical in

Echo cancel: chan_misdn vs bristuff? HFC card vs expensive card?
Hello everyone. I've got a HFC ISDN card that I'm using with chan_misdn and it basically behaves like crap. Echo is waaay worst then echo I get TDM400 card, sound is "choppy" (there other side is allays complaining about sound interruptions) and to top it all it detects fake DTMF's all the time. Is this a chan_misdn problem or is it a card problem? I really need to get

What quad/octo BRI cards are best/stable for EuroISDN and Asterisk ?
Hi, I'm currently deciding on what card to pruchase for octo/quad BRI card to use with Asterisk on EuroISDN lines. I'm aware of at least two options (Junghanns or Beronet), but don't know how stable and well supported they are. Which ones are better supported ? Any experiences? Any advice ? How tos ? What would you buy ? Thanks in advance, Regards, Rob.

Does Debian Bristuffed Asterisk work ignore Beronet cards ?
Hi, we've purchased new Beronet Octobri card and have problems loading modules for stock Asterisk for Debian Sarge (it has bristuff patches in it). when loading qozap it says that no multibri card was found although lspci shows it... There were quite some rumours about bristuff not liking other than junghanns cards, but don't know if something happened.... Anyone recently used this

Sangoma A200D problem
Hi all, I've been having problems with my A20002D lately - callers from the PSTN don't hear me when I answer, but I hear them. Disabling echo cancellation in zapata.conf brings the audio (and echo) back. This used to work fine, until two days ago. The only weird thing in the logs is this: May 12 07:42:53 steerpike wan_ecd: wp1ec: The H100 slave has lost its framing on the bus! May

ISDN Bridging with Bristuff
Hello, I tried to read Bristuff source code to understand the way calls are bridged from one BRI port to another (as HFC cards have "active channel switching capability"). Doing so I looked at zaphfc.c file which seems to be the only .c file constituting bristuff but I may be wrong I'm far from being an expert on this. I found 4 functions (hfc_btrans, hfc_brec, hfc_dtrans,

Interface card for Euro-ISDN (BRI)
Hi, I'm looking for an interface card for termination of Euro-ISDN2 (BRI) lines. That is ISDN lines from the telco into my Asterisk box. Any recommendations, good/bad expiriences ? At present I'm looking at cards from BeroNet and Junghanns. Cheers, John Faroese Telecom

Bri solution for Asterisk
I'm using a Cologne chip card in my Asterisk box with zapHFC drivers (bristuff-0.0.2). The system works well, but this way I'm not able to run newer version of Asterisk. Do you think it's better to use i4l support and newer version of Asterisk or keep the bristuff with older asterisk ?? Have anyone tried chan_mISDN on a 2.6 box ? How does it run ???

BRI hardware supported by 1.6 libpri ?
Hi, Has anyone information about BRI hardware supported by 1.6 libpri ? In another thread, I was told a basic BRI card with HFC chipset (Bewan Gazel 128) was supported but I would delighted to lear about other harwarde (and specifically about Digium B410P). Re: BRI cards, HFC, and bristuff - a general questionto clear up my understanding.
Does anyone test Asterisk 1.2.X + bristuff-0.3.X and TDM card? Sorry if I missed the start of the problem but qozap is what you want to use with your Junghanns card (at least if you want to stay with zaptel/libpri). > Everyone always mentions zaphfc -- mostly I >

cheap HFC card on Bristuff vs cheap HFC card on i4l vs Fritz ISDN BRI card on CAPI
Hello I have asterisk running in Red Hat 9 with a cheap HFC card on i4l. I have choppy sound problems sometimes, and echo problems often. I am using a 2 port Grandstream ATA, Grandstream BT and a Grandstream GPX-2000 I read that changing to BriStuff will fix the echo problems, but have also read other users say that the only way they solved the echo/choppy sound problems was using a Fritz ISDN

Quad BRI with Fedora, anyone?
We have a QuadBRI ISDN card from Digium. We would like to make it work with Fedora Core 4 (maybe FC3), but haven't succeeded. Compilation of bristuff from the Digium homepage fails, both the stable version with asterisk 1.0.9, and the experimental version with asterisk CVS-HEAD. Has anybody here succeeded to make this work? Or could we even be so lucky that somebody made RPMs for this? Lars

chan_capi or chan_mISDN vs bristuff
Hi list! I'm currently using a HFC-S card for my ISDN BRI line with bristuff. The instability is driving me crazy however. I'm having continuous problems where inbound calls will not work after some time of operation (the number then appears as not in use to the caller) or also outbound calls do not work. The solution is to unload the modules, stop asterisk, re-load the modules and

Multiple ISDN BRI Units with Asterisk using Bristuff zaphfc in NT mode?
Maybe this is rather a hardware question, but I am posting it on this list because the probability of someone else of you having tried this is greater here than other places I can think of. I have an ISDN card that is setup in NT mode using the zaphfc driver in bristuff, and I got it working perfectly with one ISDN phone using a crossover cable and 100 ohm termination at the end of the cable.
