IP Cop as a firewall and QOS
We are looking for a good firewall replacement which will basically do pot
blocking and QOS.
Our current solution just plain stinks..
We basically need to handle the traffic of a few web servers, mail server
and asterisk box. The most traffic this device will need to handle is what
can be shoved through a T1.
I don't mind buying an appliance to get something solid but IP Cop just

Sending call to analog then to Vmail after timeout?
I have one analog line hooked in my Asterisk box using an x100p (I think that's the model number).
When I do this in my extensions.conf:

exten => 1200,2,Dial(Zap/1/5555551212,20,rTt)
exten => 1200,3,VoiceMail(u100@lightwavetech.com)

Sipura SPA-2000 won't ring
I had a Grandstream 286 at my home hitting my Asterisk box at the office,
all worked well and I received phone calls fine until the device just up and
died.
I replaced this unit with an SPA-2000 because I have been impressed with the
Sipura devices and decided to use them for most of my needs in the future.
Problem is that my phone attached to the device rings shortly after power up

adjusted means and adjusted standard errors after ANOVA
I am trying to obtain adjusted means and standard errors for a three way
ANOVA
I have three effects, two continuous; fire frequency and annual
precipitation, and one categorical; soil type in an unbalanced design.
I am testing the effect of annual precipition (AP), soil type (ST), and fire
frequency (FF) on stem count (SCt)
My data table looks as such:

Copula package
Hi R-users,
I would like to use the copula package.? I? the package plus the mvtnorm and try to run the example given, but I got the following message:

norm.cop <- normalCopula(c(0.5, 0.6, 0.7), dim = 3, dispstr = "un")

Include Text file in Dial Plan
Is there a way to include a search of a text file in the dial plan?
I am trying to think of a good way to keep a sort of Blacklist file that is
checked against before letting a call through. If the callerid is listed in
the file, it will go to Hangup()

Fit Student Copula
Hello everybody,
I have a big problem that I do not manage to solve !
I will be very grateful if you can solve this !
I want to fit a t Copula with the copula package :

> x<-rcopula(student.cop,1000)

Testing Specific Hypothesis
Hi All!
I am interested in testing whether the means for the data I am investigating
are equal to a specific value - let's say 0.01. I have already run a
one-way ANOVA and know that the differences in the means are not
significant, so now I want to know what values the means take on. "otestme"
is the data I am working with (it would be hard for me to get into a form

QOS Device?
Here is the situation:
A T1 router going into an office which then plugs into the firewall box then
into the switch.
None of these devices support QOS..
Is there some sort of box/device that I can place between the T1 router and
the firewall box which will allow me to prioritize voice traffic on this
link?
I can't change the T1 router to something that supports QOS because it has

Experiences with Termination Providers?
I hope this is an appropriate question for the list..
I am looking for a VOIP termination provider who can offer the following:
-Flat Rate DID's in lots of areas
-GOOD customer service/support with quick response times
-Toll Free DID's at a reasonable rate
-Reliable/Redundant network and availability etc.
So far I have tested 4 providers which I will not mention here. I have found

for loop problem
Hello R users,
A beginners question which I could not find the answer to in earler posts.
My thought process:
Here "z" is a 119 x 15 data matrix
Step 1: start at column one, bind every column with column 1
Step2: use the new matrix, "test", in the fitCopula package
Step3: store each result in myfit, bind each result to "answer"
Step4: return "answer"

Damn DTMF Beeps on my calls
Can someone give me a clue as to why I keep hearing DTMF type beeps on my
phone calls. It sounds exactly like someone on the other end is pushing a
key on their phone but they are not!
Has anyone ever heard of this before? It use to happen once in a while,
today it's been happening a LOT and it's driving me batty..

is(x, "parent") returns FALSE when class(x) is c("child", "parent") (PR#10549)
is() does not catch parent S3 classes:

[1] "bs" "basis"

[1] FALSE
In contrast, is() does catch parent S4 classes:

+ dim = 3, dispstr = "un")

Copula in R 2.4.0
Dear R helper,
does anyone have an idea on why R.2.4.0 draws the surface for the two
command lines below and the next time it renders the error message below
for exactly the same command lines:
> norm.cop <- normalCopula(0.5)
> persp(norm.cop, dcopula)
Error in ceiling(length.out) : Non-numeric argument to mathematical
function.
I will appreciate any help from anyone
thanks,

ISDN
Hi,
I am using a Netjet-s ISDN Card, and am having some trouble dialling out
(Incoming Works Fine).

[LLVMdev] How to use ConstantFoldConstantExpression?
Hello,
i need to fold constants, i found that a function ConstantFoldConstantExpression could be used,
however I am not able to make it fold anything. Could you please give me some advice, what I am doing wrong?
My code looks something like this:
//data layout is obtained from clang-generated code for triple arm-none-linux-gnueabi with added v32:32:32
const char* const TARGET_DATA_LAYOUT =

[LLVMdev] How to use ConstantFoldConstantExpression?
I forgot to mention, that I use LLVM release 2.8, I did not try it with the latest revision, but I expect that I
am rather doing something wrong than using non-implemented functions.

[LLVMdev] How to use ConstantFoldConstantExpression?
Adam,
I just fixed this issue a few days ago. A version from the trunk should work for you.
Cheers,

Weird Issue: Call will not go into VM
Weird Problem: I have 2 EXT. One will ring and NOT go into VM
(eventually call will timeout/hang up), the other EXT goes into VM when
the call is not answered like it should. If I enable DND, then the call
will go directly in VM as it should.
Any ideas what it might be?
Thank you,
Jake
