RJ11 x RJ45
feito.

Wildcard TDM400P (TDM40B) connectors
Hi,
I'm no phone guy but I've been having quite a bit of fun messing with
Asterisk. I just unwrapped my new Wildcard TDM400P (TDM40B) which is the new
4 port FXS PCI card. It has 4 RJ45 connectors and I'd like to hookup 4
regular phones which are RJ11. If I crip RJ45 connectors to the phone cords
do I simple use the center two pins (pins 4 and 5)?
Thanks,
Randy Smith

bridging iaxtel calls to PSTN
Hello,
I just started using asterisk, and have a question. I have setup two
asterisk servers, A and B. A has a Digium TDM400 11B card (1 FXO and 1
FSX modules) and is connected to the PSTN. B has same, but is NOT
connected to PSTN. I want to configure B to call A via iaxtel, and
connect to the PSTN using A's line. How can I configure iaxtel dial
plan for B in extensions.conf? I want to be

TDM400P > BT
Hi folks,
Any Brits on the list got experience of hooking devices with standard BT plugs to the TDM400P? The TDM400P has the RJ11/RJ45 socket but I'm not sure if a standard adapter will do the trick or if we need to consider ring capacitors etc. Any links to buy the stuff would also be appreciated.
Cheers,
Simon

Connection TDM400P to UK PSTN
I'm a complete Asterisk novice and have an installation based on the Asterisk@HomeCD.
I've installed my TDM400P with 2 x FXO & 2 x FXS, but every time I try to dial out, I get a message "No circuits available".
Can someone confirm the pinouts for connecting the FXO's to a UK BT Line - I have RJ11 connectors on the back of my TDM400P card, so ideally I'd like to

I've got my developers kit from telappliant and got a machine up and running

The one thing I can't do is make my analog phone ring! I can see the call

X100P question about odd behavior
Hi All...
I have installed a single X100P card in my PC and am playing with Asterisk.
The wire I plugged into the X100P has two POTS lines on it, wired on the
RJ45 in the normal way.
I am getting odd behavior. It seems when I dial out that the X100P dials
both lines at the same time.
I have two questions.
First, I see that the X100P is only a single channel. Does this mean that
I can

Can't hear the caller
Hi,
I've got a strange issue, that I haven't found addressed on the wiki.
My asterisk box is behind a firewall which routes udp/tcp requests on 5060 and
8000 to asterisk.
When I make a call from a Zap or SIP extension on the inside of the firewall
to any Zap or SIP extension on the inside of the firewall, everything works

TAE to RJ11 connector (hope not OT)
Hi,
I'm trying to use a Detewe TA 33-clip but there is no rj11 connector on
it...only a TAE connector.
I'd like to create an adapter so I need to know which TAE pins to
connect to RJ 11 pins.
Is there anybody who knows where I can find a schema of that adapter?
Single connector pinout may help too.
TIA

MGE Ellipse 500 cable config
I have trouble in getting communication work with MGE Ellipse 500. I
bought it second hand and I don't have the cable for it.
How do I know if it's the Serial or USB model? The serial number of the
unit is: 769B16015. I suspect it is the serial version as the label next
to the RJ11 stands "com port", but I can't be 100% sure.
MGE Ellipse serial cable pinout can be found

Vizufon Video Phone
So I won one of these on ebay, in the auction it says it has the RJ45
ports on it but it doesn't :(
If I were to get an analog adapter would I be able to use the video
portion of this or am I SOL? The auction requires me to pay for
shipping back, so I end up losing money unless I sell it on my own.
Or has anyone hacked these to work on enet?

Best echo-free and trouble-free system?
We currently have a 15-phone system using Asterisk, a combination of
analog phones/Grandstream HandyTone-286 and Grandstream BT101s, and 4
X100Ps connected to analog lines. The system works well except for
the occasional echo problem. I have all the echo parameters
configured, removed all the extra incoming analog lines except to the
PBX, etc. following all the advice on the wiki and on the
