How to make an X100P answer only one distinctive ring cadence?
Hi All...
Is it possible to cause asterisk to answer some distinctive ring patterns
but not others? I have a POTS line plugged into an X100P and I would like *
to ignore one ring cadence that is answered by a fax machine. How would I
do that?
Thanks...

AMP/A@H (asterisk at home) custom incoming routing
Folks,
First off, this is messy, and I hope someone will be kind enough to
help me clean this up (the part added to extensions_additional.conf).
You've been warned!
For those of your using AMP or A@H, there has been a lot of talk
about how to route incoming calls to different places based on which
trunk is ringing. The standard answer is that you can only do this by
using DIDs,

VONAGE <----> ASTERISK SIP TERMINATION?????
Has anyone out there successfully set up their * box to terminate their
VONAGE calls?
I (and I am sure lots of others) would love to hear how you did it.
I'd like to be able to get rid of the extra hardware I have hanging around
here and use the ASTERISK machine to handle the SIP termination instead of
needing to have a Linksys modem (w/phone) and an additional X100P card.
Thanks.

Asterisk 1.0.5 won't pick up incoming calls
Hi All,
I have just migrated from Asterisk 1.0.0 to Asterisk
1.0.5 and I have an X100P installed. The old asterisk
was working, but now the new version isn't picking up
any calls! However, I did notice that after
installation, I performed modprobe zaptel and modprobe
wcfxo and they worked fine, but when I executed ztcfg,
I get the following errors:
ioctl(ZT_LOADZONE) failed: Invalid

Changing ring cadence on FXS lines
Is there a way I can change the ring cadence on FXS lines on a system using a Digium Wildcard TDM2400 card? I recently deployed a new phone system, and the customer has a few POTS phones in areas where they don't have data network services, so we're using the FXS lines to provide dialtone at those outbuildings. The old phone system would ring those phones with a short ring-short

to solve, I'll try to migrate to CentOS 6.
I'd like to ask if anybody is successfully running cadence and plugins

If any, what problems may I see running cadence on CentOS 6 ?
Thank you very much!

How to make an X100P answer only one distinctivering cadence?
>Another option is Aastra's Ring Selectors. They can "split" a line into

Don't you then have to wait 4 rings b4 an extension will get a * dial ?
This devices must wait 2 rings to detect the cadence
then * is gonna wait 2 rings trying to get CallerID which I think
it will NEVER

Newbie: Looking to setup calling between 2 analog phones with a TDM20B
I have a TDM20B and asterisk compiled fine. The drivers have been
loaded (wcfxs and run ztcfg -vv, I see the drivers loaded with lsmod).
Asterisk starts up fine. I am using the default configuration files
that are made when you do a "make samples". I was wondering if someone
had a link or website that stepped someone through this kind of setup.
What I want to do right now, is use a

Distinctive Ring Cadences
Hello All,
I am looking for a way to do priority call ringing. That is when a
caller places a call to another party, they can indicate that the call
is a priority and get a different ring to occur (ring cadence) on the
called parties phone. This would be synonymous to an intercom ring on a
key system.
After some investigation, I have come across the ability of the GS
BT101 which will ring

TDM20B and UK caller ID signalling
I have a TDM400 with 2 FXS cards, and a Samsung 6100 DECT base station
connected to one of the ports.
The base station appears to only support UK (BT) style CLIP Caller ID
signalling.
Does anyone know if it is possible to configure the ZAP channel to send
in this format, or alternatively can you recommend a GAP compatible base
station which will handle both BT and Bellcore signalling?
