Still no Broadvoice Outbound. (Bump)
I'm still not getting my outbound to work. I've seen two patches
relevant to broadvoice for chan_sip.c which apparently have already been
added to CVS. I'm dropping all outgoing calls after ~30 secs. Asterisk
doesn't seem to know they're gone though. I called my cell w/
broadvoice and turned on sip debug AFTer the call had physically dropped:

Problem with incoming calls on Broadvoice after upgrade to 1.4.18
Hi all,
I just upgraded to Asterisk 1.4.18 a few days ago and I don't use
Broadvoice TOO often, however I have a Vermont number with them and so
my mother in law calls it to talk to my wife once in a while, so
that's why it took me so long to notice it wasn't working. Anyway,
when she calls she gets a busy signal (as I've tested when calling it
from my cell).
When I enable

Asterisk@Home .6 Problems with outbound calls using Broadvoice
Hello All, I have one X100P card for inbound calls. I use two Broadvoice
SIP accounts for all my outbound calls. I'm unable to place calls using
BV. Inbound BV calls are ok.
Verbosity is at least 3

Broadvoice + incoming call works only for ~2 minutes
Hi, all.
The asterisk setup is working fine, receiving calls via broadvoice "initially". ?
When call comes in via broadvoice number, asterisk picks it up and routes
correctly, as long as the call came in within ~2 min from the previous one.
In other words, as long as a call comes in within ~2 min since the previous one,
asterisk will answer the call. However, if the call comes in

Broadvoice versus Asterisk 1.4.25.1 and 1.4.26
---------------
Hi,
I got hit with a funny one today; my configuration, which had been
running fine for many weeks, suddenly stopped registering with
Broadvoice's SIP. I switched among BV SIP hosts, verified my account
was OK, even tried upgrading Asterisk. The weird thing was that I could
associate OK with my WiFi SIP phone. So it looked like an Asterisk-
specific SIP interoperability

Broadvoice latest changes and still not working- An Additional Server
I have been going crazy with this also since Sat.
Our server was working perfectly with BV but will now not place calls
to BV.
Incoming from BV works fine.
I felt sad rebooting it today, it had been running for almost 200 days!
Here is my error message from the console...

RE: Asterisk at home with Broadvoice?
As a general rule of thumb it would be good to make the distinction
between 'Credit Card' and 'Debit Card' too.
If possible, never ever use a debit card for online purchases.
It taps directly into your account and removes REAL money.
Credit cards are 'virtual' money in that they are credit and your cash
in account remains untouched.
That way if your credit card account

Asterisk Quit Registering with Broadvoice
Hello -
I've been using Broadvoice with Asterisk for a couple of months with no issues. Today, it has stopped registering. The Sip Debug from CLI is below. It tries to register five times and then gives up. Any suggestions? As you might suspect, I have not been able to get Broadvoice on the phone and usually get cut off after being on hold about 5 minutes.

Help with Asterisk@home and Broadvoice incoming calls..
Hello everyone,
Well here is my initial posting to the list, and I will admit Asterisk is new
to me. I just got everything running here a couple days ago, so still learning
the ropes for sure.
OK, here is my problem. Currently I have it setup talking to a couple Cisco
IP phones, and some Xten softphones, this works great. I also got an account
with FreeWorld Dialup using IAX2 and that

BroadVoice - "Failed to authenticate on INVITE" error
I'm experiencing a "Failed to authenticate on INVITE" error (see
output below) whenever I try to MAKE a call through the Broadvoice
account. I noticed some others had the same problem but it went away
when they rebuilt Asteris w/ a new version. N such luck for me!
I'd be grateful for any assitance. Here's what I've done so far:

SIP Connection Timing Out BroadVoice
I just signed up and configured a SIP connection from BroadVoice. It
works great. This issue I have is that it seems after a couple calls
(or a certain amount of time) Asterisk doesn't seem to be receiving
these calls anymore. It seems as if BroadVoice is not redirecting the
call to my Asterisk.
Asterisk still seems to be ready for the call:
*CLI> sip show registry

Unable to create/find SIP channel for this INVITE & Broadvoice

Workaround for BroadVoice and possibly others...
I have an idea, tell me if this wouldn't work... I know it's really ugly,
but it might help some people until we can get round robin DNS checks for
peers...
Since * does not do GetHostByName() again until you reload your config, and
BroadVoice and I'm sure other sip providers are using round robin DNS, why
not create 2 [<your server here>-out] contexts in sip.conf, and then in

Broadvoice and incoming DTMF
Hi,
We've been using Broadvoice with * for several months, mostly successfully.
However, sometime last weekend (Sat, Dec 4 - Mon, Dec 6), BV seems to
have stopped passing DTMF on incoming calls. We've not made any changes
to the * system during this time. We even switched to using their DC server
instead of the usual LA server, with no effect on the problem.
We have applied the

USING TWO ACCOUNTS WITH BROADVOICE
Hi,
I have two accounts with broadvoice.
Now, I want to be able to distinguish between them.
I though that this would be simple by adding "/EXTEN" at the end of the
register statement. For example:
register => num1:pass@sip.broadvoice.com/1000
Unfortunately, this is not working.
When I call into my box I hear busy tone.
My config looks like this:
[root@voip asterisk]# cat sip.conf
