bristuff-0.2.0-RC8h does not compile
Hi, it helps to have configured and working kernel sources installed. Configure your kernel sources for the running kernel and then run "make" in the kernel source dir to build the necessary scripts. You dont have to wait until the kernel is compiled. best regards Klaus -- Klaus-Peter Junghanns Am Samstag, den 25.06.2005, 02:45 +0200 schrieb Stefan Gofferje: > Hi folks, > >

debian/dahdi/zaphfc - Unable to receive TEI from network!
Hello, The harddisk of my etch/bristuffed asterisk1.2 box finally died. I moved the cheap (1397:2bd0) HFC-S card to a squeeze host (i686) and built dahdi modules 2.3.0.1 using m-a. After zaptel->dahdi and asterisk 1.2->1.6 config adaptations, everything seems ok, except for the BRI side, unable to bring layers 1/2 up. Asterisk reports: chan_dahdi.c:12393 dahdi_pri_error: 1 Unable to

AW: zaphfc problem
Hi, I solved the Problem: the context defined in zaptel.conf: context = zapincoming was not in extensions.conf, so nothing worked. ( I assumend this context is only necessary for calls from zaptel, not to it) This may be a bug: in the verbose log I found nothing like "[chan_zap] Could not initialize ..., due to ....", this had helped alot and had saved alot of hours (-;

Coexistence of zaphfc and hisax?
Hi, currently I got the following problem: The system contains a HFC-PCI card, it's running without problems under zaphfc. Now this system also should send/receive faxes. Receiving faxes works with rxfax (spandsp) but txfax is not comfortable enough and doesnt bring the demanded results. So an older external ISDN modem and mgetty-sendfax is used for sending faxes. I'd like to send the

hfc-pci/zaphfc: Asterisk hangs with signalling bri_net_ptmp but not with bri_net
Please forgive me, if I misunderstand the problem completely. Following instructions in several german blogs, I want to configure Asterisk with a hfc-pci card, an old NTBA and an ISDN phone as a SIP device. It seems that I have to set signalling in zapata.conf to bri_net_ptmp. When I do this, Asterisk will hang if started with -vvvvc, the last lines of output being: [res_features.so] =>

zaphfc - TE mode - callerid trouble
I've got a bit trouble with callerid and zaphfc cards. Basically zaphfc doesn't add the "0" in front of national numbers (haven't tried a international call yet). With chan_capi that allways worked fine, however i had to define the national and international prefixes in capi.conf. Is there something similar in zapata.conf ? Here is my zapata.conf: [channels]

Caller id is not in the configs that are supplied with zaphfc from bristuff, and it's not mentioned in the wiki. Is it possible to use callerid with zaphfc/bristuff? Thanks!!

zaphfc in mode TE can't dialout (dialin is OK)
Hello, I am trying to use a HFC-PCI (CCD/Billion/Asuscom 2BD0) card in TE mode to dial-in and out with ISDN. The problem is I can not get the card to dial out with a Zap channel. Dial-in is working. I am using bri-stuff 0.1.0-RC4 (but tried also RC3 and RC2k). I tried all combination of "immediate", "overlapdial", "pridialplan". I earlier also managed to dial out

Using zaphfc and wcte11xp at the same time problem
I am having problems loading the zaphfc from bristuff and wcte11xp drivers at the same time. If I load zaphfc then all works fine. If I then load wcte11xp, the card using the zaphfc doesn't pick up calls anymore. I am using bristuff 0.2.0-RC5. Anyone else seen this problem, know of a fix, or can tell me what I am doing wrong? Thanks My zaptel.conf: # hfc-s pci a span definition # most of

Help needed with installing ZAPHFC
I need some help with installing Asterisk with ZAPHFC on my Linux system. I've installed Red Hat 9 with kernal 2.4.20-8 and upgraded it to 2.4.31-9. I've donwloaded bristuff (several versions) but all fail to compile. There seems to be some includes missing in /usr/includes/linux. Although I have significant experience with other platforms, I'm new to Linux and would need someone to
