Asterisk and Cisco IP Phones
Hello Everyone,
I want to start using Asterisk with Cisco IP Phones 7960 / 7940/ and 7905.
Any info or help is appreciated.
I know I'll have to use SIP but if I want to use the phones off site meaning
from my home for example, how can this be done?
Also, regarding external lines what are the options for Asterisk?
Thanks
Walid

Dial through IAX to FWD
Hi..
I am trying to do something but it is giving me some hard time here. I have
an IAX2 trunk to FWD which is registered and working just fine. I have =>
011|. as my dial pattern to allow that. But if I want to dial a toll free
number I would have to dial 011*1800XXXXXXX
What trunk dial rule should I use to enable anyone to call a toll free
number by simply dialing 1800XXXXXX instead of

Asterisk and Cisco CallManager Integration
Hello,
I have Cisco CallManager 3.3.4 and Asterisk@Home latest version. I have
earlier tried getting Asterisk to register with CCM via H323 and failed.
Back then, I learned that this is a known bug in Asterisk. Also people who
tried doing that had also succeeded in getting calls to go through only one
direction like from CCM to Asterisk. I am not that expert so excuse my
ignorance with this

issue with using rm: cannot generate on-the-fly list
Hello,
I have the following problem when trying to use rm:
In a top level script file I have a loop iterating over some index. The loop
is not contained within a function, so the scope of variables declared in
the loop is global. Within this loop I generate several variables which
should be removed at the end of each iteration. To do this, I wrote a
function to clean up the workspace. An example

Active Directory, Listing Users in Groups.
I have samba 3.0.8, as a member of 2000AD and 2003AD.
I would like to get groups and the members in each group.
The purpose is to maintain a set of Filtering profiles on squidGuard that
are based on AD groups. I will have a script that reads a config file with
the groupnames to fetch from Active Directory and a Precedence order to set
them in. One of the groups will be designated "a NO

[LLVMdev] Error with instruction selection
Hello,
I'm seeing a miscompilation from the following code:
declare <4 x float>* @getPtr()
define <4 x float> @func() {
%rv1 = call <4 x float>* @getPtr()
%rv2 = call <4 x float>* @getPtr()
%rv3 = load <4 x float>* %rv1
ret <4 x float> %rv3
}
The load ends up loading from the pointer returned by the 2nd function
call.
I traced down the problem to

Asterisk Demo
Hi,
I need to setup a demo for asterisk and need some help here please. The demo
is connecting to Asterisk a Cisco 7970 SIP (ver. &.0) and a SIP client on HP
iPAQ via a wireless hotspot. I need to configure both with the same
extension with a shared line like in Cisco CallManager. This way if the
extension is called both iPAQ and the IP phone ring and the user gets to
pick up using either.

NS Question
Hello everyone,
I got a question, I'm not new in the linux scene or even a geek, but I
am confused about certain stuff regarding Bind, DNS stuff, or
whatsoever, maybe it's a silly question. Anyway.
About 3 years ago I hired a dedicated server in certain company, for
hosting my site and some other sites, didn't work at all the plan I
had, nevertheless I was using Redhat 9 or something

Durbin-Watson test in packages "car" and "lmtest"
Hi,
P-values in Durbin-Watson test obtained through the use of functions available in packages "lmtest" and "car" are different. The difference is quite significant. function "dwtest" in "lmtest" is much faster than "burbinwatson" in "car". Actually, you can take a nap while the latter trying to calculated Durbin-Watson test. [LLVMdev] RFC: Loop versioning for LICM
I like to propose a new loop multi versioning optimization for LICM.
For now I kept this for LICM only, but it can be used in multiple places.
The main motivation is to allow optimizations stuck because of memory
alias dependencies. Most of the time when alias analysis is unsure about
memory access and it says may-alias. This un surety from alias analysis restrict
