ztdummy on Fedora Core 2
I followed the Wiki instructions to get zaptel to work on Fedora core 2.
It looked like everything went perfect including the loading of ztdummy.
However, I am having meetme and MOH problems synonymous with ztdummy not
loading. Take a look at my lsmod...Any ideas? (I am running stable
Asterisk on a DL360 - Dual processor)

Dahdi and ztdummy
Hi,
I need to run ztdummy for Paging, but now that this is all become dahdi I
don`t really know where to start. I did build dahdi before building
asterisk, but that`s it.
I find it hard to find any documentation referring to dadhi instead of
zaptel.
I have no Digium hardware, but I still need the ztdummy timer (or whatever
it`s called now). How do I get myself going?

ztdummy kills audio
I'm running asterisk/zaptel 1.4.5. If I load the ztdummy module, the
dialplan hangs when it tries to play audio (i.e. Playback) -- and I just
hear static on the line. I'm running this on a debian system. I actually
have it working on a different debian system but have yet to discover
the important difference between the two installations.
Any advice on where to look?
Thanks

"That is not a valid conference number.." with ztdummy running
I previously had Asterisk 1.0.7 running on a Linux 2.4.x kernel with
ztdummy. I was able to do things like meetme and music on hold. I
recently installed Asterisk 1.0.9 on a different machine with a Linux
2.6.x kernel running ztdummy. I installed and configured everything the
same way, but when I try to call into a conference room I get the error
message stating, "that is not a valid

app_meetme not loading
I originally built my Asterisk server without installing the Zaptel package
as it was going to be a purely SIP based system. However when I went to
setup conferencing using meetme I found out that app_meetme is dependant on
the ztdummy for timing. I have now installed the zaptel package and I
believe the ztdummy module is loading ok

Ztdummy and Asterisk
Hi,
I have installed Asterisk 1.4.20 on Debian Etch. The server has no telephony card
installed, but I have anyhow installed Zaptel (Zaptel-1.4.9) in order to be able to use MeetMe.
The Zaptel modules load normally. I obtain the following prompts:
kerplunk:/# /etc/init.d/zaptel start
Loading zaptel framework: done.
Waiting for zap to come online...OK
Loading zaptel hardware modules: ztdummy.

modprobe Ztdummy is not working
Hi,
I've install zaptel and I don't have a Digium card installed in the machine.
So I want to install ztdummy to have Music On Hold working. I've follow
these instruction http://www.voip-info.org/wiki-Asterisk+timer+ztdummy and
at the point "modprobe ztdummy" it's failing. I'm getting these messages:

My first Asterisk - Not recognizing X100P clone
Hi,
I'm cutting my teeth setting up a home asterisk server, but having some
trouble getting Zaptel to recognize a X100P clone PCI (Motorola SM56
which should work according to various wiki's).
What struck me was that the "/proc/interrupts" do not include IRQ 11 as
the "lpcpi -v" is reporting. Am I missing something fundamental here?
Any hint is greatly

ztdummy problem causing playback () to fail
Hi, I am having problem with my Asterisk installation and find out it
has to do with ztdummy.
if the ztdummy module is loaded, the asterisk playback() command
will not play files. DTMF is still properly received. If the ztdummy
module is unloaded, sound playback works again.
Here is my version

Can anyone tell me how to fix it? Or should I

Problem compiling ztdummy on centos 4, 2.6 kernel
Hi all,
I hope everyone is doing well. I just joined the list, and I've really
enjoyed all I have read about asterisk so far. Unfortunately, I'm having a
bit of trouble implementing this thing :).
By the way ... I did my best to search the forums, and also to use google
extensively, and while I have found pages with people with the same problem,
... The fix suggested on those sites,

ztdummy does not load properly at server startup
Hi
I run asterisk 1.4.2 with zaptel 1.4.1.
Zaptel is only needed for the ztdummy driver to get the Meetme()
application to work. I don't have any specific hardware.
And it does work nicely. When I reboot the machine however I have to
manually load the driver like this:
[root@vink ~]# modprobe ztdummy

Problems with zaptel/ztdummy/asterisk.
Hi,
I've managed to build the zaptel modules including ztdummy; ztdummy is
installing fine in the modules list and the relevant device structures
are present.
lsmod | grep ztdummy gives:-
ztdummy 5160 0
zaptel 186916 1 ztdummy
rtc 12372 1 ztdummy
Where I'm stuck is I am now at a loss as to how to configure my
/etc/zaptel.conf and
