Linking Asterisk 1.8 to late model Samsung PABX over PRI - transfer issues
Hi all
I've got a setup where I use a Sangoma PRI card driven via Sangoma WanPipe
to connect to a legacy Samsung PABX (I'm not sure which model) form Asterisk
1.8.11.0.
The reason is the customer has a large installed base of Samsung phones
physically connected to it and on each users desk. They did not want to
spring for a complete replace of all their Samsung phones with generic, and

First step would be to set up the (*) servers and have them
interconnected. When all of that works we'd go on to connect

transfer capabilities
The company that looks after my clients internal phone system has a
problem with logging in to the PABX using their data modem.
Connection looks like this
ISDN PRA from telco -> Asterisk -> SIP Trunk to my clients Asterisk ->
my clients Asterisk -> E1 port to his old PABX
I am planning to use transfer capabilities on DAHDI channel to my
clients PABX. Should I also set it on sip

Activate/Deactivate Hardware echo cancellation on TE406/TE411 when briging
Hi,
How would one activate/deactivate hardware echo cancellation on the
TE406 card?
Can it be done per channel?
I'm going to run TE406 in the following scenario:
ISDN -> TE406 -> PABX
I understand from Steve Underwood's site that echo cancellation is not
good for faxes (and they do that themselves).
So what I want to do and bypass echo cancellation for selected
extensions before

CDR dst value null after attended transfer
I'm having an issue with CDR. Basically, I expect to have all "legs" of a
call having the same linkedid and differing only by the sequence value.
That does happen, but I'm getting null dst values after doing an attended
transfer.
I'm not sure if this is a bug or I'm doing something wrong. I'm running
Asterisk 13.2.0.
Here's the console log, step by step:

Hardware Specs
Hello all!
I was wondering if you can help me a little bit...
My boss wants me to do some research in finding which hardware is most used
under Linux(ex. Dell servers, Barebones Kits, HP & Compaq servers, etc.)
This is just for budgeting issues...he wants to get rid of some old and

dhcp lease time hardware in script at dhcpd/Bind/Samba wiki page
There seems to be a slight issue with the instructions at the following
wiki page:
https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Configure_DHCP_to_update_DNS_records_with_BIND9
The /usr/local/bin/dhcp-dyndns.sh script seems to use a hardwired value
for the lease expiry time of 3600 - independent of whatever is
configured in dhcpd.conf. With the examples provided, it should work, as
the example dhcpd.conf
