RxFax problems
Hey All, I'm still (since April) having problems getting RxFax to work over an ISDN4Linux channel. Just wondering if anyone has had any luck getting it to work? I have done a CVS update today (about half hour ago) and made sure I have the latest version of spandsp according to Steve's website (spandsp-0.0.1k). When I was compiling asterisk, I got the following warnings:

Using rxfax over SIP
I have no analog line interfaces on my asterisk system, but I do have two UK 0870 numbers routed to two separate VoIP accounts (one with FWD, one with gossiptel). Asterisk is configured to register with these accounts. I get voice calls through just fine this way. I thought I could get one of these 0870 numbers to route through to rxfax, thus allowing folks to fax me directly. I've set up

TE410P + SPANDSP fax problem
Hi, I just setup a fax server by spandsp. But it doesn't look good. Because each fax I received from my fax machine is not completed. I use te410p work with it. While the voice call is good. Any ideas? Trace shows that the fax is received successfully. Aug 17 12:01:10 VERBOSE[19571]: -- Executing RxFAX("Zap/94-1", "/var/spool/asterisk

fax still fails, ideas sought! Re: rxfax/spa ndsp fails to decode
On the /proc/zaptel it was lost interrupts, you haven't got any so that's good! On opencall.org there's a known issues link and that mentions some fax machines that have issues, might be worth a quick check there. I can receive from our fax machine this end, if you'd like I'll send you a test fax if you send me your fax number, if you can receive from us and tpc then it's

Softfax/spandsp
Hi all, After a long time having no time, I have finally done some fresh work on my software fax machine. I have replaced the original carrier tracking with something more robust. I have also added 4800, and 2400 bits per second modes, and cleaned up a few bugs in areas like superfine mode operation. I apologise for this update taking so long. At ftp://ftp.opencall.org/pub/spandsp you will

Problem receiving a fax with RxFAX
Hey All, I've been trying to get SpanDSP / RxFAX to work in order to set up a soft-fax machine on my asterisk system. I have asterisk CVS-04/08/04-10:06:15 and spandsp 0.0.1. This is on a Fedora Core 1 with 2.4.26 kernel. I have tried to look for a newer version of the spandsp stuff, but opencall.org does not seem to exist in DNS any more. (If it's moved location, can someone please

Softfax/spandsp Makefile.patch rxfax/txfax
I followed the instructions at http://www.opencall.org/instructions.html and http://lists.digium.com/pipermail/asterisk-users/2003-October/025094.html I was able to compile spandsp (./configure ; make ; make install), "manually" patched asterisk apps/Makefile (/usr/src/asterisk/apps), as the supplied patch does not fit the actual CVS apps/Makefile After make clean ; make install, I

SpanDSP Scrunching incoming faxes
I tested SpanDSP as an internal extension, and it worked like a charm. Now I am trying to receive faxes from a toll-free nufone DID. I am running g.711uLaw in on this line, so no to cause too many problems. However I receive the following errors after the fax is finished receiving: so the fax comes in Executing RxFAX("IAX2[NuFone@198.22.67.70:4569]/5",

spandsp rxfax under Linux 2.6 w/TDM400?
Hi, I have got my Asterisk server running with TDM400 card (2xFXO & 2xFXS). I originally had the system configured with a Panasonic fax machine on one of the extensions. Due to the high volume of fax spam, I figured it would be a much better idea to capture the faxes as TIF or PDF files to minimize wasted paper, etc. I have downloaded, compiled and installed spandsp and can see the rxfax
