hfc-pci/zaphfc: Asterisk hangs with signalling bri_net_ptmp but not with bri_net
Please forgive me, if I misunderstand the problem completely. Following instructions in several german blogs, I want to configure Asterisk with a hfc-pci card, an old NTBA and an ISDN phone as a SIP device. It seems that I have to set signalling in zapata.conf to bri_net_ptmp. When I do this, Asterisk will hang if started with -vvvvc, the last lines of output being: [res_features.so] =>

zapHFC in TE mode with multiple hfc cards
Hello all, I was playing with the zaphfc driver and i had these issues: I've tried to configure multiple spans (in TE mode, not NT) but it always give me errore "No such Device (6)"... I've 3 HFC-S based cards in the machine, but it seems to load only the first one. If i try to load only the first card, asterisk starts correctly, but if i try to place a call it gives the error

AW: zaphfc problem
Hi, I solved the Problem: the context defined in zaptel.conf: context = zapincoming was not in extensions.conf, so nothing worked. ( I assumend this context is only necessary for calls from zaptel, not to it) This may be a bug: in the verbose log I found nothing like "[chan_zap] Could not initialize ..., due to ....", this had helped alot and had saved alot of hours (-;

zaphfc no callerid incoming to SIP phone butvisible in logfile
Try commenting out the line pritrustusercid = yes Or set it to 'no'. That worked for me. -----Original Message----- From: asterisk-users-bounces@lists.digium.com [mailto:asterisk-users-bounces@lists.digium.com] On Behalf Of Jens Sent: Friday, January 21, 2005 7:18 PM To: Asterisk Users Mailing List - Non-Commercial Discussion Subject: Re: [Asterisk-Users] zaphfc no callerid

Skype vs. an Xlite registered to Asterisk
I have a bunch of road warriors who I've set up with Xlite clients. Unfortunately the sound quality has been intermittent at best. Sometimes it's great other times completely unusable. When it's bad one usually hears harsh static when the other party speaks or their voice gets "clipped" to static if they speak too loudly. Many of these users have migrated to Skype ? much

Latest DAHDI/libpri/Asterisk 1.8 & 1x BRI port HFC based ISDN card?
Hi, I would appreciate some advice on the following: how does one use a single BRI port HFC chipset based ISDN cards with the latest DAHDI, libpri and Asterisk 1.8? For Asterisk 1.4 I would first install mISDN & mISDNuser and then build Asterisk 1.4. Now I noticed that Digium's HFC chipset based B410P is supported by the latest DAHDI & libpri but reading the source of the

The asterisk can see the card but no success to receive or dial a call. The Siemens 4170 gives fault in all the handsets with trying to dial and does not receives anything. I have linux kernel 2.4.29, asterisk CVS-v1-0-03/12/05-17, zaphfc

HFC-S ISDN cards in Xen3.0.3 DomU''s
Hi! I just wanted to ask if anyone managed to get "ordinary" HFC-S ISDN cards with the zaphfc driver running in a Xen3 DomU. I am referring to this post ( http://lists.xensource.com/archives/html/xen-users/2007-04/msg00202.html ), which perfectly describes my problem and I am therefore going to simply copy-and-paste it here: ----------- snip ------------> Hi, I''m

Sorry if I missed the start of the problem but qozap is what you want to use with your Junghanns card (at least if you want to stay with zaptel/libpri). > Everyone always mentions zaphfc -- mostly I >

zaphfc 2 cards working with P2P Mode ?? - massive Problems
Hello List, is someone operating a DID /P2P / Anlagenanschluss with more than one HFC-Based ISDN-Card ??? I have now 12 hours of setup-troubles behind me with Colt-Telekom, where we did not get it working with two HFC-based cards. Here the setup: - 2 HFC-ISDN-Cards (the one from Conrad-Electronic) - bri-stuff.0.0.2 (with the asterisk-sources from the download.sh-skript) - two NTBAs from

zaphfc - TE mode - callerid trouble
I've got a bit trouble with callerid and zaphfc cards. Basically zaphfc doesn't add the "0" in front of national numbers (haven't tried a international call yet). With chan_capi that allways worked fine, however i had to define the national and international prefixes in capi.conf. Is there something similar in zapata.conf ? Here is my zapata.conf: [channels]

HFC-S card problems
Hello everybody, I'm having little trouble (well, pretty big trouble) with HFC-S card and Asterisk. My idea is to do VoIP/IAX link between two HW PBXen using two Asterisk PC boxen with ISDN cards in them. AFAIK HFC-S cards must be in NT mode for this installation, they must behave like state line for those HW PBXen. (if wrong, please correct me). Diagram follows:

HFC cards and Asterisk
Hi all, In our asterisk box we have a Fritz card and an HFC card. So far I've had the Fritz card working well, but its time to connect the HFC card up to the ISDN line and get it working. I've followed the instructions on voip-info.org here: http://www.voip-info.org/wiki-Asterisk+zaphfc+install and here: http://www.voip-info.org/wiki-Asterisk+zaphfc+install But when it comes to

debian/dahdi/zaphfc - Unable to receive TEI from network!
Hello, The harddisk of my etch/bristuffed asterisk1.2 box finally died. I moved the cheap (1397:2bd0) HFC-S card to a squeeze host (i686) and built dahdi modules 2.3.0.1 using m-a. After zaptel->dahdi and asterisk 1.2->1.6 config adaptations, everything seems ok, except for the BRI side, unable to bring layers 1/2 up. Asterisk reports: chan_dahdi.c:12393 dahdi_pri_error: 1 Unable to

Problems with zaptel and HFC-S PCI card
Hi list, Now that I've got my Asterisk server to recognize my HFC-PCI card, I've run into some serious problems. The first thing I noticed was this message that would show up every five seconds on the CLI: Dec 27 15:46:42 WARNING[12484]: chan_zap.c:2512 pri_find_dchan: No D-channels available! Using Primary channel 3 as D-channel anyway! == Primary D-Channel on span 1 down

HFC-S ISDN card on *@home
It seems so simple, but I'm having no luck installing a HFC-s ISDN BRI card on *@home 0.5. I probably have to install BRI-stuff from Junghanns.net but that also downloads and installs another copy of * from Digium. I'm not sure if zaphfc has to be installed *before* Asterisk or if it's OK to do this afterwards. I've seen this question before, but: Anyone successfully installed a
