DISA and AGI: authenticate by caller ID? (resolved)
Here is some code to do authentication by caller ID for DISA through AGI.
My original code had a bug in the Mysql query code, and there was a hangup
in the wrong place
[that's what I get for coding something at 2:00am], but the attached code
works correctly.
Take note of the REGEXP for the CallerID variable. When I tested the code
from the PSTN
it worked because there was no name component,

hang up when going to voicemail
I have a little menu set up where hitting 1, 2, or 3 places the call through
to a cellular phone over IAX. That works. However, if caller hits 4 to go
into voicemail, the system hangs up. Am I doing something wrong in the dial
plan, or is this a CVS change? I had no trouble with this until I upgraded
to about 07/21 CVS, and I'm on 07/23 [latest] now with same results.
My dial plan:

CentOS 4.2 hangs at power-on boot
I've just installed CentOS 4.2 on a brand-new PC. It appears to be

Creating multiple objects from form data
I''m in the process of creating a sign up form for an online application.
The form collects account info, company info, and then info for an
administrative user.
The method looks like this:
def create
@account = Account.create!(params[:account])
@company = @account.companies.create!(params[:company])
@user = @company.users.create!(params[:user])
end
However, this inevitably fails

I have a new box with four PRIs on a TE405P
I will terminate US Toll-free traffic (1-800, 888, 877, 866) for free via

I have ulaw, alaw, and GSM codecs enabled.
To use, just send your call via SIP to

reshaping pairs of columns
Given a data frame consisting of a pointID and 12 pairs of (lat, long)
variables, with names
latA, longA, latB, longB, ... latL, longL, I want to reshape it into a
data frame with the structure
point source lat long
1 A ... ...
1 B ... ...
I've looked at reshape and plyr, but can't figure out how to do this.
Details of my data frame are below

TE220B
Hi,
Has anyone ever had any problem with the TE220B card with it showing up
as four ports instead of two. I RMA'd the first one with the retailer
(Digium tech advice), but I just got another brand new card and it is
coming up as four ports again. The card identifier is showing 0420 when
I do lspci. Has this happened to anyone and if so is there a fix?

Michael,
Do both!
As for Sip Termination:

seperate accounts for either Sip or IAX and fund your
account with a minimum of $100. This is what I did.

Thank you.

free dids on goiax.com
GoIAX, the Asterisk community's free IAX provider, is offering free US
dids now. I loaded about 175 dids in and put up a very beta sign in page.
Unfortunately I had to restrict the free us/canada outbound calling back
down to toll-free only. There was a lot of war dialing and prank
calling going on. I'm working on some stuff to hopefully curb that kind
of stuff down so I can

TDM400 - channel out to lunch?
Today I had channel 1 on my TDM400 go to sleep, verified by pluggin in
known good telco lines in various combinations on channel 1 through 4 -
problem is channel 1, not anything external. So after seeing lots of
stuff on the list re: TDM400's I power cycled, removed board and let
linux say nothing's home, replaced board, told linux to ignore it etc.
No OS/asterisk/etc changes made on

chan_dahdi.conf parser question
My config works fine but I must be missing a concept because a small change
gives an unexpected result. Can someone help me understand the
chan_dahdi.conf parser that would explain this?
Based on the config below, Channels 1-23 are assigned to the context
inbound-pri, and Channels 25-47 are assigned to the context outbound-pri. As
expected.

Regarding hashing, ext3, and kjournald
I've tried to find my answer to this question but I
have not (yet). Any assistance or expert knowledge is
greatly appreciated!
PROBLEM: mounting an ext3 volume 'read only' results
in a different md5sum hash value for the volume than
when the same volume is *not* mounted
SCENARIO:
- when I hash unmounted /dev/hda5 using 'md5sum
/dev/hda5' I get value XXX.
- when I hash

Snom 360 and firmware 4.0 problem
I have a pair of snom 360s at a customer and they were giving me Low Memory
errors. The distributor suggested updating the firmware. I did that, to the
one just below 4.0 (which wasn't released yet). One of the phones is still
giving the Low Memory error every 3-4 days. The other one had a broken
display that was just RMA'd, so it' hasn't been up long enough to know if the

motherboard for T100P
anyone have a recommendation for a place I can buy cheap motherboards that
supports those 64-bit 3.3 volt PCI slots for the T100P ?
I can't find them at Fry's or anywhere locally. All I can find online is
dual processor server boards that are overkill for this application.
I would like to use a P3/ P4/ AMD single processor. No Xeons or dual
processor junk.
Anyone know why digium

Please Help Test Quad PRI Using NFAS
Please help me test my setup by dialing 800.564.0215 and listen to the
queue for a bit. I have a quad port T1 with NFAS setup.
I can dial-out but I cannot dial any 800 numbers (Global Crossing says I
need LDS service and that will be a couple weeks) so I cant test it
myself. I need at least 24 callers to feel comfortable enough that it
is working properly.
Thanks,
Steve Totaro
