Barcode or EAN code?
One my of my CDs has a bar code, 4 011222 044068, which is titled "EAN CODE". Another one simply has a barcode, 07822-18646-2, without any title. Should I assume that the barcode of any CD is the EAN code? I'm asking this because I want to know how to title the comment of the Vorbis file -- "EAN code" or "Barcode". Thanks. -------------- next part

cheap HFC card on Bristuff vs cheap HFC card oni4l vs Fritz ISDN BRI card on CAPI
Hi, Bristuff works great with HFC card... your compilation problem may come from your kernel configuration... You should check this doc, at least, for the redhat config : http://www.automated.it/guidetoasterisk.htm Then, installation of Bristuff works like as charm ! cheap HFC card on Bristuff vs cheap HFC card on i4l vs Fritz ISDN BRI card on CAPI
Hello I have asterisk running in Red Hat 9 with a cheap HFC card on i4l. I have choppy sound problems sometimes, and echo problems often. I am using a 2 port Grandstream ATA, Grandstream BT and a Grandstream GPX-2000 I read that changing to BriStuff will fix the echo problems, but have also read other users say that the only way they solved the echo/choppy sound problems was using a Fritz ISDN

Adding shading to background of Time series plot
Hello All, Thank you in advance. I have looked up and down in the archives to see if I could find some help on moving the polygons to the background of a ts.plot. I've tried panel.first in the gpars(...) arguments and trellis.focus, but I get errors. Am I missing something easy here? Here is my script: ts.plot(tsdjia, tstenyield, gpars = list(xlab = " ", ylab = " ",

plot pdf
I want to plot the unstadardized version of a normal plot.  Can you explain why that is not working? Dev.set(1) xcrit=-1.645 cord.x <- c(-3,seq(-3,xcrit,0.01),xcrit) cord.y <- c(0,dnorm(seq(-3,xcrit,0.01)),0)            # what does final 0 do here? curve(dnorm(x,0,1),xlim=c(-3,3),main='Normal PDF') polygon(cord.x,cord.y,col='orange')

[OT] Where do you find good designers for your RoR projects?
Hi, Nowadays, the design of an application is nearly as important as its functionality. But - most good programmers are not automatically skilled designers. Especially when it comes to the creation of fancy icons or small illustrations. So, where do you find good and affordable designers and illustrators for your commercial (rails) projects ? invisible functions
The survival package, like many others, has several helper functions that are not declared in the namespace, since their only use is to be called by other "main" functions of the package.? This works well since the functions in the survival namespace can see them --- without ::: arguments --- and others don't. Until a situation I ran into this week, for which I solicit comments

zero line
Hi all, I´m plotting cf (with two axis) and addind a shaded color up and down on the 0 line x axis (tfr1 is the time). The thing is that when I plot this graph adds a line up on the "first" plot. I hope you can understand what I mean. How should I erase this sencond line, it is suposed they have the same data? Why zero line doesn´t complete the shaded area?

Dahdi, b410p and looping from 1 port to another
Hello, Is it possible, for testing, to connect an cat5 straight patch cord between 2 ports of a Digium B410P card and use these 2 ports as a normal dahdi trunk ? I've tried this: One port is set as NT, the other as TE. I would expect timing to come for system hardware so I choose in /etc/dahdi/system.conf : span=1,0,0,ccs,ami span=2,0,0,ccs,ami Results: - both ports lights are green -
