SipSak: error: this FQDN or IP is not valid: voicegw
Hi,
I've tried to use SIPSAK to understand the troubles i'm having about sending my voice to the person I've called (extension), after doing this tests below I always got this error "error: this FQDN or IP is not valid: voicegw".
This could cause problems (namely audio problems)?
Best regards,
Helder

Does anyone knows about hadware (routers and etc) support IAX?

Is there a way to avoid bandwidth consumption on sip calls?
Hi!
Is there a way to avoid being "at the middle" of communications between
two SIP endpoints? So that we can avoid loosing bandwidth with it?
Is there a way to "forward" the authentication to a IAX provider and
"transfer" the call to it, avoiding using my own bandwidth?
I've tested it with SER with some results, I was wondering if it is
possible with

Codec Conversion
Hello,
Is there an utility for asterisk for codec conversion? I tried google but i haven' got anything.
I am trying to initiate a call with G711 codec to asterisk and i would like asterisk to call a gateway with an g729 codec, therefore making a codec conversion from g711 to g729. I know chan_oh323 does it by specifying the OUT_CODEC variable, but chan_h323 does not. And i was wondering is

data import
Hello,
I'm a new user of R, and unsure of why I'm getting an
error reading external files on my Mac OS 8.6 machine.
I've read through posts that would seem related (and 'R
Import/Export' and 'Introduction to R') but to no avail.
If anyone has any suggestions, I'd be very grateful. Here's the problem:

[LLVMdev] Compiling llvm and Clang in solaris 10
Norm,
thanks for the help. Applying the fix solves the issue I mentioned but now
I have more issues.
I can install clang, but when running I cannot compile and link files.
If I compile with -c flag it works but compiling the following x.c file
gives an error:
x.c:
int main(void)
{
return 0;
}
> ./clang x.c

Troubles with Macro-stdexten and dial
Hi!
Could someone give me a hand?
If I dial 200 for echo testing it works... Everytime I dial an extension ex.
505 get the error below....
In this example it was from 508>505 a Xlite Pro to a TA.
I believe it has something to do with the way i'm executing the command dial
but I use the "standart" that comes in the samples from asterisk.

[LLVMdev] Compiling llvm and Clang in solaris 10
Is there anything I can do regarding the linker issue? The solaris linker
is in /usr/ccs/bin/ld but I think llvm wants to use the gnu linker. gcc in
my system was compiled with the solaris linker.
Thanks,
Jorge

Airon,
I used R2.4.0 on a Windows XP (SP2) (not Chinese :-))
and it still works:

Airon,
I don't think you have to find an English computer 'cause the
following must work in your Chinese one :-)
Let me explain. First of all, change your lines to
xdata <- ckhdat$Adj..Close[1:1447]
#names(ckhdwt.la8) <- c("w1", "w2", "w3", "w4", "w5","w6", "v6")
note the # sign, i.e., DO NOT change the names

Airon,
I'm not sure I have understood your question. Anyway, it
seems to me that you'll have to code a little. Take a look
at ?modwt. I think you'll have to put zeros each scale a time
except the one you want to reconstruct. Then do imodwt.
After some small loop, I think you'll get the desired result.

indexer-worker issues on dovecot 2.3.0
Hello,
I have some mailbox with error on index-worker process on dovecot 2.3.0
If I move the same mailbox to dovecot 2.2.33.2 this problem dos not happen.
See below the backtrace:

dbox benchmarks
http://hg.dovecot.org/dovecot-dbox-redesign/
Looks like multi-dbox scales pretty nicely. Even after 100k messages the
peak saved msgs/sec is the same as the initial saved msgs/sec, even if
the average slows down somewhat.
I tested this by first deleting mailbox, then running "imaptest" for a
second to get saving to start writing several fields to
dovecot.index.cache file. Then ran

Disconnected in APPEND depends on service_count?
Hello,
we have quite odd behaviour of dovecot under new OS.
We use dovecot 2.2.18 for years under Ubuntu12 and Ubuntu14. Now we use
Ubuntu16 and notice some strange errors.
dovecot 2.2.18 is rather old, but runs reliable and we dont need newest
features, so we packaged it again on Ubuntu16.
For explanation: We use some own patches for dovecot and insert some
functions in deb packages, so we

dbmail benchmarking
I thought I'd try benchmarking with dbmail (v2.2.4) to see how much
slower a SQL backend could actually be. Skip to bottom for the
conclusions.
Originally I ran the tests with the databases being in XFS
filesystem. MySQL's performance was horrible. It went 3-7x faster
with ext3.
MySQL 5.0.30 backend (innodb):
./imaptest clients=1 - append=100 seed=1 secs=30 msgs=1000000 logout=0

Testing that named_scope is defined
Hi guys,
I''m just beginning to use RSpec and I ran into the issue of testing a
named_scope. I''m not actually trying to test its behavior, as it''s not
my code, but I wanted to test at least that it''s defined. I tried
doing this:
describe Post, ".most_recent" do
it "should be defined" do
Post.method_defined?(:most_recent).should be_true
