[Asterisk-Users] SipSak: error: this FQDN or IP is not valid: voicegw
Hi, I've tried to use SIPSAK to understand the troubles i'm having about sending my voice to the person I've called (extension), after doing this tests below I always got this error "error: this FQDN or IP is not valid: voicegw". This could cause problems (namely audio problems)? I've managed to resolv this by altering the machine name to voicegw.microrede.com at this point I don't get this error anymore. But, after some tests with sipsak I found references to internal ip's at the end of the communication. Is this normal? [Asterisk-Users] SipSak: error: this FQDN or IP is not valid: voicegw
Hello, sipsak is not able to determine the full qualified domain/hostname of the machine where your are executing it. The hostname is probably 'voicegw' but that name is not resolveable via your local DNS setup. Please use the -H switch to specify the hostname which should be used in outgoiing requests (BTW this is documented in the man page of sipsak).
