Linux distribution
Hello, Could anybody tell me if there is a Linux distribution (or Kernel version) that works better with Asterisk. I am newbie and I don't know if there is a preferred Linux/kernel version for Asterisk. Thanks. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... least sucky FXO interface?
Would anyone care to offer opinions as to the FXO interface which sucks the least :) I have an application in which it appears I must route certain calls out an analog PSTN line. Presently, I am testing an SPA-3000, but I can't seem to get the echo heard on the IP end of the call down to a non-annoying level. Any suggestions welcomed :) -Dorn

1xT1 PCI card for *
I have a nice used zhone channel bank I want to experiment with, but need a T1 interface for my * box to do so. The TE410P looks nice, but more money than I want to spend to experiment, and I don't need 4xT1, only 1xT1. Are there any good 1xT1 PCI cards that are recommended? Regards, -Dorn

VM_CALLERID (how to get name+number)
I'd like to get VM_CALLERID to include number in addition to name since often when calls come from cell lines or various other, the name is just a city, state and the number would be more usefull. Is there a way to get the number in the VM_CALLERID string, or is there a second variable I can use in formatting email vmail notifications to get the number? Regards, -Dorn

TDM400P install on Debian 2.6.10
I just installed a new TDM400P with one FXO interface in slot 4 (how it came from Digium). This box is running Debian with a 2.6.10-rc2-mm3 kernel. After the make linux26 and make install in /usr/local/src/zaptel, I can see contents in /dev/zap but any attemp to touch for example /dev/zap/ctl gets a no such device or address ... Any suggestions?

TDM400 success?
Has anyone had success with the TDM400 in production? I have multiple boxes where these cards lock up and the only thing that will fix them is to unload *, modprobe -r wctdm, modprobe wctdm, load asterisk. Does not matter if it is a FXS/FXO module. I know this topic has been discussed many times before, but my questions is not "is anyone else having this problem" since I know that

PSTN/phone/FXO/FXS cabling issue
I just received a Wildcard TDM400P by FedEx yesterday. I noticed that the FXO/FXS modules use connectors similar to Ethernet. Now, i want to connect the TDM400P to the PSTN connector in the wall, and also to a regular analog phone. Both the PSTN conn and the phone use smaller connectors, typical for analog phones. I searched the "official" docs and the Wiki, there's good

Hi, every body! I am a new comer for R, so my question would unavoidablely sounds stupid. Sorry! In my experiment, there are two type of soil ( soil F and soil D), each half of them were subjected to steam sterilize (result in FS and DS soil). A equal volume of soil from two of the four soil types (F, D, FS, DS) were mixed as follows: F+F, F+D, F+FS, F+DS, D+F, D+FS, D+DS, FS+DS (eight

Ugly, garbled output from autotest
I am getting this horribly ugly output from autotest when a test fails. Normal output from ''rake test'': -- 1) Failure: test_export_format(TaskTest) [./test/unit/task_test.rb:61]: <"Michael Alvarez"> expected but was <nil>. -- Same failure, as seen via autotest: -- 1) Failure: test_export_format(TaskTest) [./test/unit/task_test.rb:61]: ---

Package does not have a NAMESPACE and should be re-installed
I'm trying to load a package locally from a zip file. When I load the package, I first get this, which looks okay: package ?IBGEPesq? successfully unpacked and MD5 sums checked HOWEVER, when I try to use the package to use the data with library(IBGEPesq) I get this message: package ?IBGEPesq? does not have a NAMESPACE and should be re-installed I've tried re-installing it, and

[RFC] Expose user provided vector function for auto-vectorization.
> What is a `"logically"-widened alwaysinline wrapper for the vector function`? Can you provide an example? Also, what is the `tricky processing` you are referring to that the vectorizer should care about? For the case mentioned earlier: float MyAdd(float* a, int b) { return *a + b; } __declspec(vector_variant(implements(MyAdd(float *a, int b)),

[RFC] Expose user provided vector function for auto-vectorization.
Hi Francesco, > I am crafting the attribute so that it makes it explicit that we are using OpenMP and we are expecting a Vector Function ABI. I just thought that another option would be to force FE to always emit "logically"-widened alwaysinline wrapper for the vector function that does the arguments processing according to ABI inside (we need that info in the FE anyway). That way

Missing permissions
Hi Aki, Thanks. I was especially interested in documentation related to dovecot and it's users permissions, the way in which dovecot uses users. Till now I found only spread information on different articles from dovecot's website. Thanks, Mura Andrei On Sat, Apr 11, 2020 at 9:49 AM Aki Tuomi <aki.tuomi at open-xchange.com> wrote: > Hi, > > >
