All, Slightly off topic. Polycom released their SIP software version 1.6.6 for their phones recently. I was under the impression that this release fixed a previous limitation where the phones would only watch 7 buddies, ie send 7 sip subscriptions to Asterisk. I have configured a phone directory to watch 30 or so appearances, and it still seems to only be sending 7 subscriptions to Asterisk.

Hi all, I've just updated to current CVS, and have 2 polycom IP phones, one is a IP600 and the other is a IP300. The IP600 shows the status of the IP300 and a ZAP line quite nicely, but the IP300 won't show the status of the IP600.... At the most recent project I completed I have to post a intranet web page with instructions on using the system and phones. Asterisk is 1.07 stable and the phones are Polycom IP300, IP500, and IP600. Has anyone done an Astersik users guide? Something non-technical but covering most of the features an office worker would use. If nothing exists, should we develop this as a documentation project?

Hello All, I have Polycom IP 500 phones which I would like to have message waiting indicators on. So far, I have my system running well but the problem I am seeing is that MWI doesn't seem to tell my phone that it should display a MWI state. The light does not show when you have message nor is there any indicator on the text lines of a message waiting. The wiki doesn't cover this

Don, All you need to do is configure your VM button on the phone via the cfg files. You setup the phone to look to an FTP server for config scripts and then setup the scripts to work as needed. Hi, After upgrading to 1.5.2 I no longer can directly access to my voicemail by pressing the "Message" button, I have to go through the "urgent,new,old" report first. The oneTouchVoicemail parameter is set to 1 but not taken into account apparently. Anyone noticed that problem?
