DELL 2800 : PCI Parity error
Hi,
I am struggling to get rid of a conflict on DELL 2800 : PCI Parity error
(EB113 on the display)
I am learning linux and asterisk as I go along, there might be obvious
things I should know, but bear with me.
>From demsg below my 2 digium cards installed are listed (no config or
connections done to digium cards yet), the conflict is with the TDM400P
card, without that card, in any slot, no

memory error?
I have just noticed this message in my kernel logs, reporting the possibility of an error with my memory. This would go a long way towards explaining the problems i''ve been having. This particular error is occuring when i''m not running xen so is obviously not something brought on by xen itself.
The strange thing is that the NMI error is always followed by the TLAN: eth0: Adaptor

TDM04B vs Dell
Hi all,
I've struggled for several days trying to get a Digium TDM04B 4-port
wxfco card working on a Dell 1U PowerEdge 750 machine running
Fedora Core 1. I finally got a call back from Digium who indicated that
there is a fundamental conflict between the card and the PowerEdge
having to do with PCI interrupts. Asterisk version is stable v1-0 12/29/04.
The symptoms of the problem were as

FXO PCI Master abort
Recently I started getting weird errors. All of a sudden I see the
harddrive of my box glowing steadily and syslog is getting filled (and the
cpu hogged) with these errors:
It seems to start with this line:

Server freeze & kernel panic
Hi All
I'm having some serious kernel panic while using digium cards.
It may be related to IRQ shared.
Can this cause a lot of drop call and bad voice quality ?
Do you guys know if there is a way I can assign one IRQ for each digium card
?
Thanks a lot.
Here is the output of /var/log/syslog

PRI issues with TE410P
Hi,
I am having some problems mentioned below, the box is in production live
environment with traffic around 30 - 100 calls.
I am running T/E410P in a Dual P4 xeon with HT disabled. I am using
zaptel 0.9.0 and asterisk stable 1 release. There is no gui, just mysql,
perl (small script) and asterisk.
System runs very smoothly if the calls are around 40-50 and comes one by
one , however sometimes

Asterisk not relaying back the SIP response messages
HI all,
I have the following setup running:
EP<--->Calling Asterisk<--->Relaying Asterisk<--->Softswitch<---> PSTN
The Endpoint EP is registered with the Calling Asterisk. Calls are
forwarded from this machine to
Relaying Asterisk which in turn forwards it to the Softswitch. In
addition, this machine also
relays back responses from the Softswitch to the Calling

Connecting a Rolm CBX to Asterisk via T1?
Hi all,
So I'm trying to work on this complex fax server setup, and part of it involves connecting my asterisk server to my Rolm CBX switch, via a T1 line. I plan on using Asterisk simply as a T1-PRI Bridge to IAXmodem (which in turn, activates HylaFax+ to handle the faxing). So far, though, I don't think I'm getting 100% of the way there. When dialing the fax extension from my

Digium vs. Sangoma
I don't mean to be a troll in any way shape or form. I was on IRC last night and I observed the following convo. below. What do you guys make of it ?
[02:14] <bkw__> Let me tell you how chidlish digium and Mark Spencer is. I walk into a restaurant with them all here at Astricon wearing my sangoma shirt and he asked me to leave.

Upgrading to Centos 4.7 on HP DL580G5 caused problems
As part of patching a cluster which has two DL580G5 login nodes ( 4X
Intel 7300 DC cpus) & 24 HP DL160G5 compute nodes ( 2x Intel 5272 DC
cpus) we encountered an issue that I would like to record:
I upgraded both DL580s to Centos 4.7 via yum but only rebooted one
initially- this node, previously bomb-proof, started to hang randomly
with no obvious messages logged to help with diagnosis.

Yet again: chan_zap.c: Unable to specify channel 4: No such device
I have seen this in the archives any number of times -- but I have yet to
find a solution that works for me. Any suggestions you can offer would be
most appreciated.
Here are the answers to the questions I have seen asked in earlier
posts. The log contains:

Hello,
I am having some problems with faxing in asterisk. I have a TE100P
which is taking my PRI. This seems to be working fine. I also have a
TDM400P with 2 FXS. Again card seems to be working fine, I can dial
from phones attached to these to ports and everything seems to work
fine. I have 2 DID's for my two fax machines that dial the Zap port
for the FXS on the TDM400P.

Problem with a TDM400
I have a small system based on one TDM400 card with
- 2 FXO modules for incoming lines
- 1 FXS module for one phone
The system was working fine in the past. The motherboard was exchanged
and during the switch, the phones line was rewired with a mistake and a
incoming phone line was connected to the FXS module, and there was
ringing voltage on the module.
Now, the system kinda works but the FXS

problems with TDM400P
Hi,
We have two of these 4 port FXO cards.
However, we are having some problems with incoming/outgoing calls.
The latest version of Asterisk/zaptel from CVS is being used. Voicemail,
internal SIP <-> SIP calls between Pingtel xpressa hard phones work
terrific, echotest is fine, and so on.
The zaptel and wcfxs modules load fine, and show all 8 FXO interfaces in
dmesg:
