SPA-3000 as FXO Gateway for * (Was: Qs about FXO/FXS cards)
Thanks Rich,
I have an SPA-3000 laying around, so I will attempt to set it up in a
little more conventional manner (although your method looks like a
winner for a home test PBX). Would you mind posting or PM your current
config to me, maybe screenshots if you PM. If I start with that it will
take less time to get to the point where the SPA-3000 is a true FXO-FXS
gateway for *. I will be happy to

SPA-3000 generating one-ring calls
This is a wierd one. Can't figure it out. I have an SPA-3000 at the
house handling my incoming line. It's setup to direct the incoming call
to asterisk. Works great 99% of the time.
A few times a day, I'm getting calls that ring once internally and are
then hungup. I managed to get a detailed log [1] of what's happening
today and it looks to me that the SPA is acting wierd.

SPA-3000 as FXO Gateway for * (Was: Qs aboutFXO/FXS cards)
Voxilla.com has a great config wizard for the SPA-3000 and *

I took the output from this wizard and dumped it on my test box with an

great.
Calls from the PSTN to the spa3000 are routed to dialplan #8 on the
spa3000, which dials *

Echo on SPA-3000 FXO
I've had an spa3k in service here at the house for a while now. After
some initial wrangling, it's been working okay. I've had to reboot it a
couple times and have noticed something rather annoying though.
My setup is pretty simple and, dare I say, common. I have the SPA-3000
"inline" between my incoming POTS line and the internal house phone. It's
setup to deliver

Hint and call-limit issue
Hello,
I have a Sipura SPA-3000 connected to my PSTN line and forwarding calls
to my Asterisk box. It is a SIP peer "pstn-spa3k". I have setup
"call-limit=1" in the peer config.
When a call comes into Asterisk I get the correct "inuse" values but the
hint isn't updated:
sprite*CLI> sip show inuse

Spa3k and ISDN
Hello all,
I have an ISDN termination box (TR1) that converts ISDN(Bri) to 2 normal
analogue lines. The same number is assigned to these lines. These lines are
connected to 2 spa3k registered to my asterisk box.
When calls arrive, TR1 try to pass call to the first spa. If spa not takes
the call immediately then try to pass to the other spa. The only
configuration I found works is to put the

5.8gig phone MWI
Does anyone have personal experience with a 5.8gig wireless phone (system)
that has an MWI that WORKS with asterisk via fxs (in my case spa3k)
generated MWI. I know the spa3k does stuttered dialtone but not sure if it
generates FSK MWI.
I see some that state they do but I also see reviews that say they don't.

multiline, cordless, expandable phone system and asterisk message waiting
Basically, pretty much all the 2 line cordless systems I've seen come with a
built in digital answering system that I'll never use, the main problem with
this is that these units don't support VMWI (visual message waiting
indicator) with telco supplied voicemail. This is a problem because I'll be
setup an Asterisk system in the next month or so to handle my 2 analog and 1

Sipura 3000 x special dialling pattern (pin code)
I need to place a call using a "pin code". To access an external line,
the host PBX (a Ericsson MD-110) will require that I dial
*72*pincode#phone_number to complete any (trunk) call.
When I send the number, my Sipura 3000 will reject the call with
"Forbidden - wrong password on authentication for INVITE" (see below).
All other calls sent to the Sipura box without the

SPA-841 Call waiting?
Has anyone gotten call-waiting to function on the 4 line SPA-841?
I've seen some documents that say it can do it, some say no way.
If yes, can you share configs / SPA-841 settings?
If no, did you work around it?
I can call out just fine on all 4 lines, however, if I am on the line,
another call coming in does not ring the 2nd line...it just goes to busy

HT-488 vs. SPA-3000?
Hello,
Just want to tap the collective wisdom of this list as to experiences
pertaining to the Handytone HT488 and the Sipura SPA-3000 adapters...
Basically I'm looking for a FXO/FXS/LAN ATA and these two seems to be
the top of the pick..Any comments and experiences esp. with Asterisk
compatibility would be great, before I plonk in the bucks.
TIA.

SPA-941 Disable call waiting or Disable Call waiting via asterisk
I'm trying to disable call waiting for Linksys SPA-941, but
unfortunately as far as I have seen, there are no parameters on the web
interface regarding this feature. I just want callers to hear the busy
tone when the called party is at the phone. Probably I can accomplish
this by using the "disable call waiting" in asterisk as well, but I have
not been able to find any

Sipura Adapter SPA-2002
Hello. Has anyone run into problems accessing voicemail with the Sipura
SPA-2002's?
Our SPA-2000's work fine (registers fine, able to make and receive calls
properly & also able to access voicemail). We've configured the 2002's
exactly the same way. However, with the SPA-2002 we're unable to access
the voicemail system (though it does register fine and is able to

[OT] Sipura-3000 - Immediate hangup on inbound PSTN calls
My apologies for the off-topic post ...
No matter what settings I try, when I dial in to the SPA-3000 on the
PSTN line, it picks up the call and immediately gives me a fast busy
tone then hangs up. The info tab says under PSTN Line status:
Last PSTN Disconnect Reason: PSTN Disconnect Tone
which seems to indicate that the SPA thinks the caller has hung up.
Since I am in Japan, it is possible

Sipura SPA-2000 & Asterisk 1.24 w/incoming calls
We have issues with all of the SPA-2000 ATAs we have where incoming
calls from only one of our Asterisk servers do not complete.
Details:
1- On the CLI we see that when the call is pushed to the ATA it shows
Busy/Congested
2- We can make calls to this same server just fine
3- We can receive calls from other Asterisk servers running older CVS
versions of Asterisk with the same exact ATA

Asterisk - SPA-3000, 407 error
I recently lost my setup (bad drive) and I'm now trying to get my setup
back. I have Asterisk setup to a BT100, a Cisco 7960 (7.2 SIP) and an
SPA-3000. I can call the phone extension, I can call from the phone on
the SPA to other extensions and I can call out to the PSTN. What I can't
do is to call from the PSTN to through the SPA to Asterisk. It rings
twice then I get fast busy. I

Sipura SPA-3000 call progress, and interdigit delays
Hello,
I've been experimenting with Asterisk 1.0.6 and a Sipura SPA-3000, and
I've run into a couple of questions I haven't yet found clear answers to:
It appears that the SPA-3000 has no call progress on it's FXO
interface? Asterisk considers a dial() as answered when the SPA-3000 has
dialed the number on the PSTN line, not when someone has answered a phone

Sipura SPA-3000 Beta
Hi All,
I'm on of those brave souls who bought into the preproduction beta of
the Sipura SPA-3000 FXS/FXO adapter. I've had the unit a few days and
am exploring it's workings. I really want it mostly as a
straightforward FXO adapter, to replace an X101p. Let me be clear, I'd
love to support Digium in every way possibe, and will likely buy a
TDM40 card shortly. But, the X101p has
