AOC billing
Hello, is there someone who knows if I can use AOC for billing in Asterisk? I mean: let's say I have an external SIP device that produces AOC data. This device connects me to the telco network. Can Asterisk, if connected via SIP with this device, collect AOC data and put it in the CDR records? If not, which is the right way to use AOC for billing? Thanks a lot Stefano Corsi -- Stefano

The pulse has these figures: frequency .................................................................... 12 kHz ? 1% level .......................................................................... 200 mVrms on 200

AOC-E pass through
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi, I'd like to know what is the current situation with regard to AOC-E, when Asterisk is inserted between the telco and an existing PBX, using E1 / EuroISDN. Can Asterisk pass the AOC-E information received from the telco to the PBX, so that billing system still works? The system would be for a hotel, so breaking billing system is not possible.

Well, based on your tcpdump output, it looks like your rules were rejecting unrelated packets, or tcp/443 packets. It's hard to be sure since the ICMP was the first packet, so you didn't show the packet it was actually replying to. The ICMP traffic is a result of

Yes, now I am dropping packets in OUTPUT chain for type 3. Initially, I implemented the chain to drop type 0 and 8. But it wont worked and the packets were hitting at firewall for multiple ICMP requests. I didn't Understand the problem. After posting here I go through all the types of ICMP types where I understand to drop packets for "Host unreachability" . Thanks for your help Mr.

Billing and CDR's
Hmmm, perhaps I am the only one who doesn't trust their telco (I doubt it) but... I have the rates that I currently pay my telco, and would like to extract my CDR's and add an additional field displaying the actual price paid for the call. I would like to do this based on destination phone number, and outgoing channel. However, I have a few difficulties: 1) I pay a different rate for

Billing Fun - anybody know where to get a NPA/NXX db?
Hello; I've been playing with a nifty Open Source java based report writer called Datavision (datavision.sourceforge.net) and I've managed to write enough logic to calculate phone bills at different rates from the MySQL cdr's. (cdr_addon_mysql) Eventually I want to have sets of rate structures for each user of the system - so I can bill client A at 3 cents a minute and client B at 2

problame with outbound calls on pri
Hi. recently I have been trying to setup a PRI on asterisk. Inbound calls are working just fine but I am not able to make outbound calls. Does anyone know what I need to change to make outbound calls work? Right now the PRI is instantly hanging up on the outbound calls. I have included full debug info as well as config files. /etc/zaptel.conf span=1,1,1,esf,b8zs bchan=1-23 dchan=24
