include and hint in extensions.conf with new realtime feature - how?
hi,
i'm a bit puzzled because i do not get include and hint to work with the
new realtime enginge (cvs-head from 2004-12-09).
other things (sipfriends and "normal" extensions) work perfect with the
realtime engine.
the entries in the static extensions.conf file i used before where:
exten => 183,hint,SIP/snom220
exten => 183,1,Macro(stdexten,443,SIP/snom220,183)

Snom 220 busy lamps [was: Receptionist phone...]
I am so far unable to get the busy lamps on a Snom 220 to work either with
current cvs or asterisk 1.0.
I am using the hint extension and the Snom 220 just as described in the
"mini-howto" on:

There are also a couple of wiki pages referencing this:

Hint with snom 220 - call pick up
Hi,
I am trying to use the support for monitoring extension states of a snom
220.
In the extensions.conf file I added:
exten => 770,hint,SIP/770
It means that when the snom phone boots, it will register it-self to
asterisk as a monitoring phone for 770: Asterisk knows that the SIP/770
is monitored.
I am using the 3.56q-beta firmware.
It is in the DESTINATION option as it said on the tiki

beronet BNS40 led blinking: not working or not connected?
Hi,
I've just installed a beronet BNS40 on Asterisk 1.2.9.1. Everything
seems ok, asterisk gives no error (nothing inside logs) but the 4 led on
the back of the card (which is NOT connected to an ISDN line) are red
and flashing....what does it mean? Is it not properly working or it
means the card is not connected to any ISDN line? The card handbook says
the card has red led but not their

error: (XEN) Not enough memory for DOM0 memory reservation.
Dear list,
I''m trying to get Xen working on a P3-600E with 320 MB RAM. (256+64)
It has suse linux 9.1 installed on it, and I tried to get xen running with
both the binary download from the xen pages and the suse xen packages
mentioned on this list some days ago.
Both ''install packages/kernels'' lead to the same error:

I am testing with 2 GXP2000 phones (firmware 1.0.1.9) at the moment

On ext 690, button 1 is setup for ext 691, I did this using both methods
691, and <sip:691@192.168.69.1>

[PATCH] nouveau/led: prevent compiling the led-code if nouveau=y and leds=m
The proper fix would have been to select LEDS_CLASS but this can lead
to a circular dependency, as found out by Arnd.
This patch implements Arnd's suggestion instead, at the cost of some
auto-magic for a fringe feature.

Inverse fuction of ecdf
Hi Everyone,
I want to generate some random numbers according to some empirical
distribution. Therefore I am looking for the inverse of an empirical
cumulative distribution function. I haven't found any in R. Can anyone
give a pointer?
Thanks,
Geoffrey

LDA fuction
Hello,
I wonder what analysis i have to use to evaluate which environmental
variables most closely related to the grouping that I have.
I has 38 streams are grouped based on eight environmental variables, but I
wonder how these variables relate to these groups.
Example.: PH, dissolved oxygen and altitude over which these variables
relate to a group one, and two . . .
Understood .....????

integrate a fuction
I'm having a function of the form
1> f<-function(x){
1+
1+ return(x^p)
1+
1+ }
,and I would like to integrate it with respect to x, where p should be any
constant.
One way would be to set a value for p globally and then call integrate
function:
p=2
integrate(f, lower = -1, upper = 1)
However, I would like to use 'integrate' inside a function, so I could call
it passing

office with a new subnet, new server, new everything, the time does not

how to stop cursor blinking in wine GUI
Hi all wine users and developers,
I have a touch question which I have been searching answers for quite a long
time to configure wine but still have not solved yet. Wine is the only
Windows program simulator running in Linux which I use, however one thing
annoying me is that currently the cursor is always blinking in the GUI. For
example, the editplus running in wine. Something it really drives

Centos 6.2 x64 after GRUB menu, black screen with blinking cursor
Dear CentOS users,
I installed CentOS 6.2 x64 in a Sun Fire X4450 machine, it has 4 disks and
I configured them to be a single volume (no RAID). The installer sees the
volume perfectly, its 570Gb. I created two ext3 partitions, /dev/sda1 and
/dev/sda2. In the logs I see they are formated correctly. All the files are
installed.
Then when I reboot, I get to the GRUB menu. Choose the first and only

Hi, all:
I'm using centos 6.2-x86_64, the built-in kernel version is 2.6.32-220.el6.x86_64.
Now I compiled kernel of version of linux-2.6.32-220.23.1.el6.x86_64, which get from kernel-2.6.32-220.23.1.el6.src.rpm.
I have put vmlinuz and initramfs into /boot directory, as follow:
[kdev at panda boot]$ ll /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.32-* ./initramfs-2.6.32-*

Controlling BLF Leds ...
Is there a way to set/clear a BLF LED on a phone from the dialplan?
I want to use one as an indicator of some state in the PBX - in this case
it's "night mode" but I can think of other applications.
I have BLFs working just fine for "normal" stuff, just wonderin if I can
use them for more!
Cheers,
Gordon
