hint extension and Snom phones - CVS or stable?
Hi, does the hint extension work together with the Snom phones in stable? I don't get an error in the dialplan, but it does not work either. On SIP/26 I want to monitor SIP/22. This is what I do right now: extension.conf [incoming] exten => 955,hint,SIP/22 exten => 955,1,Dial(SIP/22) sip.conf [26] ... subscribecontext=incoming ... snom - blinking leds on fuction keys when call is not yet established - how?
hi, i just ported the patch of David Hinkle http://www.mail-archive.com/asterisk-users@lists.digium.com/msg49781.html to the current cvs version of asterisk. the theory is that the leds of supervisioned extensions are blinking until a call is established whereafter the leds should be constantly lit. however it's not working. the asterisk server is sending the following xml notify to the

Snom programmable leds / keys usage for pickup groups?
Would it be possible to use the programmable led+keys on the Snom phones to signal that there is an incoming call that is ringing a call group or pickup group? We use this on our existing PBX if for example the accounting dept. is out for lunch but nobody can hear their phones. This way you can see an incoming call (and we hate voicemail) :) Thanks!

Aastra phones occasionally show "No Service" - Is there any network setting I can tamper to facilitate a quick DHCP renewal on the Aastra phones?
Hi Everyone, I am running DD-WRT on a router that feeds about 30 Aastra 6753i. The phones occasionally go into "No Service" mode. The POE switch doesn't seem to be the problem as it's tested fine. I think the router sometimes gives up and comes back quickly. Or something of that nature. However, the connections are maintained if a call is going on because there are peer to peer

snom led not working with asterisk 1.4.1
Hi, I'm testing Asterisk 1.4.1 with Snom phones but leds are not working to show which devices are busy/not connected. The same phone worked with Asterisk 1.2.9.1. I would appreciate anyone who knows how to setup Asterisk 1.4.1 to behave as 1.2.9.1. TIA Giorgio Incantalupo

Zaptel wct2xxp driver causes LEDs to go black and RED alarm
Hi there, I've got two Asterisk hosted PBX servers with Digium TE210P cards attached by a E1 cable to Port 1 on each. On startup, both cards flash red, alternating between ports 1 and 2. When server #1 loads the Zaptel module and drivers, Port 1 status LED goes green. When server #2 loads the same module and drivers, Port 1 status LED goes completely blank. Unloading the wct2xxp

Compiling latest postfix fails on C8
Hi, I tried to compile the latest version of postfix, runs fine on C6 and C7, on C8 it fails. Complaining about missing ypclnt.h, this should com from glibc-headers. Any suggestions? Anyway to control the LEDs on the Aastra 55i six top buttons? Maybe through Asterisk?
Hi Everyone, We use the top buttons on Aastra 55i to login and logout from Queues. This is the order: Button 1 = Login to English Queue Button 2 = Login to Spanish Queue Button 3 = Logout of English/Spanish Queues There are indicator LEDs on each of these buttons. Is there anyway we can send a SIP request or some other communication to get the Aastra 6755i phone to keep the LED for login set

Technical problems with samba 3.5.11 and access 97 .mdb
Hello everybody, I'm having trouble with samba 3.5.11 and an access 97 database. I work in a business with 5 users that use a mdb database over samba, and for the first to make a query everything works fine, but if some other user tries to make a query when the first one is doing it, the database works really slow, like if the .mdb file is being blocked (that's what I suppose). I've
