How to make/recieve call using asterisk when thereis a power failure?
Sorry I dont have any answers, however I do have a question.
I was told that ISDN-30 lines do not work during power failure. Can
anyone with some better knowledge confirm or deny this?
Is this because the ISDN-30 box on the wall requires power (and Telco
providers just dont hook them into UPS as standard)?
Or do they mean if your local circuit has lost power so will the local
digital exchange

Using Asterisk's manager interface to recieve calls
What i need is to recieve a call in a console!
I mean i can call from CLI...but can i recieve calls too? If this is possible how is the console identificated and where!
Actually i need to call from one Asterisc server console to another(i know what is asterisc server for, but this is a specific task)!

My client computer is running Solaris 10 u8. The computer hosting the share says it's running Acopia ARX(3.0.0b1) According to Active Directory (not familiar with this OS, i think it is a NAS)

Hi!
I want to make mobile phone registration system with e-mail
confirmation.
firstly, When user send the e-mail from the cell phone then user will
recieve an register url by e-mail.
It likes an error handling system, when error happen the system will
send the error message but it is a bit different I think.

zttool says tdm800 is OK, but it won't recieve calls.
I have a TDM800 that is installed and working. (TDM800 + 2 X QUAD FXO).
Zttool says it is configured, ok, and there are no issues.
Ztcfg -vvv shows that all the channels are configured.
Zap show channels in the CLI show all 8 channels configured as they are
supposed to be.
When I plug in a pots line from the telco and make a call to that line,
asterisk does not respond. (No Starting

hi,
i use $AGI->wait_for_digit($timeout) to wait for the user press key 1
,and then to do something.
but how can i get the return number ?
is that use $key = $AGI->wait_for_digit($timeout)
and $key will be "200 result=49" if i pressed number 1?

Date recieve vs date sent
Hi All,
I have migrated a client from what I think was UW-IMAPD to Dovecot, using
the tool imapsync (http://www.linux-france.org/prj/imapsync/). The client
is using Outlook and Outlook Express as their mail client and now all of
their emails have the date 20/01/2006 in the folder view. When the email
is viewed directly, the date is the correct date for the email.

On one of our servers, we're having problems with incoming faxes. The connections come in through a PRI into a Digium TE820 card. 'fax show stats' yields the following:

Failed to recieve Fax: Asterisk - IAXModem - Hylafax
Hi,
I've tired to forward a Fax from Asterisk to Hylafax. It works so far
until I tried with a Fax machine.
I just got error shown in the log below. I'm not sure why. I've tested
it with other 6 machines and they all work fine.
Do you have any idea why?

X100P how do i recieve incomming calls?
I have just purchased a 2nd hand X100P, if I do a ztcfg -vv I get:
"Zaptel Version: 1.4.0
Echo Canceller: MG2
Configuration

My understanding of the above is that the zaptel driver has detected the

configure actionmailer to recieve email on localhost?
hi, is there a way i can configure my localhost to receive email using
smtp? i can out emails fine but now would like to test/get-to-know how

RSPerl and Statistics::R

Being a Perl hacker for some time, and wanting to leverage what R provides, I've been trying to work with Statistics::R and RSPerl.
The former has a race condition that breeds some unreliability and the latter seems to have issues all around, and neither has been updated in some time.
