E&M Wink start problem
Attempting to talk to an Eagle Telephonics switch at a disaster exercise. Didn't think a plain old E&M wink start T1 would be this much of an issue. Music On-Hold problem
My problem is: No matter what machine I install and configure Asterisk on it I just can't get the music on-hold to work. Is anyone of you out there have such problem? If so what have you done to fix the problem? I've tried so far three other computers and none of them I was able to get music on-hold to work. critical problem
About every 10th call coming into my x1000p is not getting the audio it should. You can see the messages scrolling on the console as they usually would, playing the thankyou, then and menu messages. internal phones ring, but when answered there is no audio. The caller gets a full volume echo with about 1/2 second latency. At first I thought it might be related to using the aggressive

connect to IMAP
hi, I am trying to get a webbased IMAP mail module to work. http://nocc.sourceforge.net/ But it seems it doesn't connect to it. When i try to login it says: "login is not allowed for connection" i guess it has to do with the settings of the conf file. I have dovecot installed on Centos and installed it with yum. All (basic)settings are usually set correctly during install.

Setting QUEUE_PRIO
Has anyone tried to use this? I have: exten => 2944000,1,Queue(some_q) exten => 2944000,2,Set(QUEUE_PRIO=10) exten => 2944000,3,Queue(some_q) When the user enters the queue again, they are being put at the back of the queue. It seems this new variable does not work. Doug.

Queues, priorities and (miscalculated) holdtimes
Anyone ever noticed that the reported holdtime is wrong when there are different priorities? Also talktime is 0, but for the moment I don't care. Nuvox PRI - CCITT (ITU??) vs. ANSI
All, Having problems terminating to a Nuvox PRI, the tech at Nuvox is saying Asterisk is transmitting in CCITT (aka ITU?) when they're expecting (and will only accept) ANSI. The question is, is there a simple way to change this or am I stuck with rewriting code? I googled and checked the mailing list and found nothing, I could be barking up the wrong tree I guess. PRI is not my forte.

How to implement "priority queuing" within a single queue ?
Hi, Let say that in a call center, callers are recognized and categorized in 4 priority levels (priority 1 for Very Very Important Personalities, 2 for VIP, and so on) before entering a Queue. SIP/Polycom Issue, Asterisk 1.2.16, calls dropped
