I am running Asterisk 1.0.9 and have been running all my calls through a VSP over a IAX2 trunk however we have recently purchased and connected a TE110p to a PRI ( E1 with 16 voice channels ) through Optus. I can make outgoing calls via it fine, however incoming calls are dropped after a few seconds ( or as soon as a command like Playback, or the call is picked up if forwarded to a SIP

Ideally, the setup would be to dial an outside line through the PABX (that would actually link to the the VOIP gateway). At this point I would prefer not to purchase a hardware-based VOIP gateway. I have an Asterisk system with a TE110P installed and connected to an ISDN E1 PRI that is delivered via a 2mb SHDSL connection. I am experiencing delays (the type of delay you would get on an international call) during calls. I am wondering if anyone could advise, would the problem be with any part of the Asterisk system or is the problem with the fact that the ISDN is delivered over the internet?

Dear R experts, I wonder how can one input a string variable in multiple lines in a R script. I've seen solution to the command line continuation in the non-string situation (just continute at the new line). However, that doesn't work for strings because the new line character, "\n", is included in the resultant string. For example, if I type the following in a script:
