Re: [Serusers] softphones
Hi
I tried Xten, its very good, because it can stay in the taskbar (next to the
clock) and start when windows starts, and is allways ready to receive calls.
Maybe it s the best way to introduce VoIP to my company workers....
But theres a feature that s missing (or I couldnt find), there s no way to
connect this softphone with the adress book. I think this feature is very
important, because

same extension on softphones and hardphones
Sorry if you see this message repeated twice. I would like to set up
hard phones and softphones with the same extension so that when anybody
in the company dials an extension, each user's hardphone and softphone
will ring at the same time. I've tried setting this up before, but I
noticed that the last sip device to register with the same extension is
the only one that rings when the

HOW TO make xten eyebeam incoming video start before you send yours
Sorry, I don't remember who was asking about this, but it seems that if
you record a video message that contains the send video start, it will
actually fire up the remote receive window.
I.E. Previously I was using the recording section of voicemail to create
my video IVR's. This meant that when I arrived at the section to record
the message, I had already clicked send video in Xten.

presence and video conference
Hello,
I would like to ask, if there's presence support in Asterisk and how
to make it work with
Xten's Eyebeam client. I tried searching all the possible
documentation, google, but I found only a note, that there's a module
in SER, that supports the feature. Is there also support in asterisk?
Any pointer to documentation describing this is welcome.
One more question -- is there

xten x-lite eyebeam
In an attempt to eliminate audio echo I upgraded one side of a working
x-lite to x-lite
connection to eyebeam. No joy, and what was worse is the audio was even
worse
now - just noise. Ok, I upgraded the other side to eyebeam and same
thing. I'm
not even using video (will enable it in sip.conf later, one change at a
time). The connection
looks something like:

h323 how to ?????
I try to get H323 to run, but have so far only partial success:
There is a Gatekeeper GK, where asterisk connects to.
The Gatekeeper sees Asterisk, and Asterisk sees the gatekeeper.
From the Network on the GK, asterisk is reachable via the number
070333333. I have an extension on asterisk 6002, which is reachable.
I try to call a number attached to the gatekeeper (070168177) with the

Is that wifi phone available? If yes how much and when? I am looking to
purchase a large quantity of wifi phones. I have a few questions on
making calls with these phones and how the accounting of the calls would
go. Thanks.

Excellent service from vendor
We often hear about the problems with vendors, but not as often when a vendor does more than expected.
Last night I placed an order for a Sipura ATA with http://www.voxilla.com/
Today they called me to explain that they had just run out of inventory, and would be happy to cancel/refund my order, or give me a free upgrade to next day shipping when they receive more inventory next week.
