autologin-user-timeout
Hello,
in the assumption that I understand them correctly I specified in
/etc/lightdm/lightdm.conf
autologin-user=xxxx
autologin-user-timeout=10
so that after 10 seconds the user xxxx is logged-in automatically.
What happens is that the user xxxx is logged-in immediately i.e. without
any delay.
Do I understand the second variable wrong or am I missing something?
Thanks for any help.

Enabling auto-login
How do you enable auto-login? I went into /etc/lightdm/lightdm.conf, uncommented autologin-user (and set it to = my login name), and uncommented autologin-user-timeout (and set it to = 0).
Is there something else I missed?

Skinny behind NAT?
Can skinny work behind NAT? I have a Cisco 7910 using SCCP behind NAT
that has one way audio. The called party cannot hear the calling party
who's using the 7910.

Setup speed dials on Cisco 7921
I've added lines like this:
speeddial = 123,test
speeddial = 260,Bob
in the [device] section for my 7921, but the speed dials do NOT appear on
the menu (click right from the main screen). Am I missing something obvious
here?
Thanks

Speed Dial Application in *
Hi all,
Is there a "speed dial" type application in *? The NEC PBX we
currently use has a feature which allows any phone to access a
system-wide speed dail database simply by keying the speed-dial number
and pressing the 'redial' key from any extension. Even using a vinella
phone on an sli the user can dial 77+speedial# and access this
directory.
Does * have a similar

I get the following message when I dial 74#. Does anyone have any ideas
on what might be going on? If I don't require numbers to be terminated
with # everything works as expected, but you have to wait for the digit
timeout, of course.

deprecated ALERT_INFO var andAMI's Originate command
Since 1.4 ALERT_INFO variable has been deprecated. I used to send this

Callerid: AutoLogin[1234]
In order to send an autologin and autoanswer call to the agent 1234 on an

SCCP questions
Hi!
I have two, not too related questions:
- the probably simpler one: if anyone can help me out using a Cisco
7905G with chan_sccp? I did already managed to get it working with a SIP
image, I'd just like to see it work with this one as well. It's probably
something I screw up with the configuration, as the phone registers,
only I don't get any lines with it, although I have it

autoLogin
I just installed Centos (version 4.4) and wondering how I can change things
so I don't have to login.
I am aware of the security implications for doing this but I would prefer
this if I can do it.
I believe it has something to do with autologin and if so how is this
configured ??

X11 on 5.3 not ALWAYS autologin
I am running 5.3 on x86_64. I have it set to auto login X11 by editing
the /etc/gdm/custom.conf file.
Seems like it does NOT always auto login. Seems like maybe 75% of the time
it does but then sometimes it doesnt.
How can I find out why it doesnt always login?
when it doesnt I dont see anything in dmesg or /var/log/messages.
Any thoughts are appreciated.

SCCP problem with ATA188, Asterisk@home and chan_sccp
Hi,
This is a message I already posted on the chan_sccp mailing list, but since this list has a lot of active members, I'm hoping someone might be able to help (And my problem is * related, so I guess it's ok if I post it here also ;) ).
I'm trying to get SCCP ATA188s to run with Asterisk.
The Asterisk box uses the latest Asterisk@Home image (Version 2.6).
I have compiled and
