SIP, IAX2 and ISDN ISUP data
Hi all, I'm looking at my options for getting access to ISDN ISUP fields from DDI numbers, when connecting to a 3rd party Asterisk server. This is for a custom voicemail solution, and at this stage I want to avoid renting a PRI. The information I need to capture is: - Calling Number - Called Number (e.g. the DDI handling the call) - Redirecting Number (e.g. the device diverting to the

It's the latest version I could find of ices0, that is - 0.2.3, with mp3 support. The patch I've done is not a patch for the real error, it justs forces ices

IP SEC filtering issue
First thing to note is that I am using FreeBSD 4.8 . We would like to send only the syn packet of a tcp connection through certain ipsec tunnels and the rest of the packets in a connection though a simple transport mode setup. Yeah, I know it's strange but what can I say -- we do a lot of strange things. From the best I can tell, the setkey/spadd filtering capability isn't sophisticated

[Bug 485] Stresstesting ipset crashes kernel

It turns out that e.g. in a row of roughly 480 "ipset -A" (nethash) in a row the system once hangs at around 300 executed statements while it hangs around 370 the next time. So this

Call forwarding from Phones and getting the referrer IP
Hi I'm using asterisk 1.8 but I'm sure this applies to other versions. If someone puts a call divert on a handset such as a Snom phone I get this type of SIP message on receipt of an inbound call: Got SIP response 302 "Moved Temporarily" back from xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:xxxxx Which then triggers a local channel to make the call. Is there any way I can access that IP address inside

Solution for automatic radio?
Hi, I've read various times that people here are running bigger and smaller radio-stations. However, most people with "a bit larger" stations seem to also have hardware-equipment for radio-broadcasting (studio, mix-panel, separate computer(s) for automatic playlist- playback etc.) and then send the audio to a dedicated streaming- server. But is it possible as a

Divert to arbitrary number.
Hi All, I am looking for a way to allow users to dial *21*, followed by a number and the pound key. Asterisk must then divert all incoming calls to the user's extension to the number given. I got it right halfway using a tip from http://ns1.jnetdns.de/jn/relaunch/asterisk/page6.html. Thanks to whomever is the contributor of the above tip. The problem is however, that the number to which
