CDR / billsec / originate / local chan
Hi All,
I have been running a environment with asterisk 1.4.20.1 for some time
now with no issue but have recently added some extra functionality
(enabled call recording via MixMonitor) and ran into some deadlock
issues which seem to be well documented with earlier 1.4.x releases so
have decided to take the plunge and upgrade. I decided to start testing
with 1.6.2 but have run into a couple

MusicOnHold and MP3Player not triggering "answer"
Hi
I have kind of an odd problem.
When dialing in from an outside line via a TE410P card it seems like
MusicOnHold and MP3Player doesn't work properly (for me anyway). The remote
end which is calling * doesn't hear the music but just keeps ringing. But if
I insert a Playback("file_which_dont_exist") just before the Moh or
MP3Player I can hear the music. Actually I observed the

CDR Records are not working
Hello Asterisk-Users,
For some reason my CDR records for disposition and billsec are not working
correctly.
I always receive a 0 for billsec and the disposition is always at "NO
ANSWER', even when I grab the calls.
I experience this with Asterisk 1.6.0.1 and Asterisk 1.4.22.
Here is information on how I do the call:

I want to generate a call file to /var/spool/asterisk/outgoing. This call
will dial out to Local Channel and return to some Extens.
Then Asterisk11 will generate a CDR records to MySQL's cdr table(in

Change include contexts runtime
Hi there
How do I change the dialplan runtime, if I for example wants all calls on
the main number to be answered by a voicemail (when it is out-of-office
hours).
I want to be able to change the configuration by pressing a DTMF combination
e.g. *82. Can't figure out whether it is necessary to change contexts or how
to do it.
I have read a lot of examples and config documentation, but I

Error saving cdr at h exten in Asterisk13
Dears,
I need to save some information on userfield when calls end in Asterisk13, but I have two error cases:
1. With endbeforehexten=no in cdr.conf, I have a registry in cdr, but userfield is not set.
2. With endbeforehexten=yes, I have two lines in cdr, one with duration, src e dst correct, and a second line with userfield setting and dst h.
I am using cdr_odbc.conf, with Asterisk11.14.0 it

CDR duration/billsec
Hello list,
I'm having troubles implementing the ${CDR(duration)} & ${CDR(billsec)} variables in this scenario:
PEER CALLS OUT ->
CALL GOES TO PEER'S DEFAULT OUTGOING CONTEXT ->
THE CALL IS SENT TO A MACRO AND GOES IN HANGUP ->
THE CALL RETURNS TO EXTENSION h OF PEER'S DEFAULT OUTGOING CONTEXT (here I'm trying to print the variable)

ZAP channel on TE410P doesn't hang up
Hello * users
I've have a rather disturbing problem, which I don't know how to debug or
how to solve, but first a brief description of the set up.
One Asterisk server with a TE410P card installed (first line used on this
only), and a number of Wellgate 3504A (4 port FXS devices with SIP
firmware). There is no connection from the Asterisk server to the outside
world or any other

CDR billsec issue with calls forwarded through the Local channel
Hi
I'm using asterisk 1.8.23.1 but I've seen this same issue in previous
versions of 1.8. I have created some work arounds but the behaviour is
incorrect.
This is the scenario:
Call comes in and goes to appropriate dialplan
In the dialplan the call is forwarded to another number using a Local
channel (and using /n ) e.g.
Dial(Local/<my-number>@outbound-context/n,60)
The number is

CDR(billsec)
Hi people, when I try to get the billsec in the dialplan, it is 0... but if after that I check the database, it is right (not 0).
I'm trying to get it in the h extension, like:
exten => h,1,Noop(End)
exten => h,n,Noop(Time is ${CDR(billsec)})
....
Is it updated after the extension h is executed? In that case, how can I get the call duration in the h extension?
Thanks,
Anahi

Zombie (Masqueraded) Channel CDR Problem
Hi,
We are running asterisk 1.2.16 and need to connect two channels which
are already established. We are currently using app_meetme to achieve
that, but we are sometimes unhappy, as app_meetme provides functionality
that produces load that we do not need in our two party conferences. I
figured out that there is an alternative called app_changrab.
